Bob's Burger & Brew

Went in on a Friday night at 10:50. Sat at the bar and was told by the bartender that the kitchen closed in ten minutes and she really needed to leave as soon as possible. Never felt so unwelcome in a restaurant before. I have tended bar myself and was truly offended by the way she pushed my wife and I out the door before closing time. The sign on the door says open til 11. At 10:50 we should have at least been welcome to have a beer.  Wish I could comment on any other thing about the place but the bartender was so unfriendly that we left rather than push the issue. Friday July 19,2013 was the night we went.  Customer service could be a lot higher. Or they should say "closes at 11 or whenever the bartender need to get off work". Very sad for a place beside a hotel and the only place within walking distance.

We went there for lunch on a Sunday around 1pm.  We were seated pretty quickly.  But if we had just arrived a few minutes later it would've been a longer wait for a table.  It got more busy after that.  I forgot about there buffet but I've already sworn to no more buffets EVER! It's been awhile since we ate here and all the burgers are quite authentic with various ingredients... I went with what I knew and ordered the mushroom burger.  The hubby ordered the chipotle chicken burger.  We devoured both with a good helping of fries.  Although I had to stick my CLEAN knife ino the ketchup to get it going... (How do you get the ketchup out?) Our server was always attentive with our iced teas as well and even when he handed us the check he offered to refill the iced tea for one more time.  Overall, we'd eat here again... I did prefer their burgers over RAM... I did have a good view of the BBall games but would have like to sit at a booth for more privacy.

For some reason I got it in my head this past weekend that I just had to go to Bobs Burger & Brew... It'd been years since I had so I figured it was time to make a visit.

This location next to Walmart is kind of pain parking wise but I finally found a spot. Although the joint was packed we only waited about 10 minutes or so and ended up with a nice big table that was comfy for the 7 of us.

Our server dude was awesome, I regret I can't remember his name. He was attentive but not overly so, refilled drinks, got us dips etc.

Ok so the food. Basically a gut bomb... I didn't feel good the rest of the day and just had a burger and sweet potato fries. The fries were excellent but I've had way better burgers. The salads that others at my table got didnt look too exciting, especially for the price. Overall I find Red Robin to be a much better value and better food.
