Skybox Grill & Lounge

Wasn't too crazy about the atmosphere at first. The place was completely empty on a thursday night. But I had a gift card, so I couldn't pass up free food.
Chips and Queso were incredible, though they didn't really look appetizing at first. The French fries and onion rings were superb!
Negative: the Chipotle Chicken Sandwich was no good. Kind of blah. My boyfriend's burger was mediocre. They didn't have O'Fallon Weach though they advertised O'Fallon in the door.
Positive: Staff was great. Our waitress went out of her way to get my meal taken off the ticket because I didn't like my sandwich. (All without me even asking her to do that). This def revived our opinion.

This bar is a bit "bro-ed" out for my liking. But I'd definitely go there again to watch a sports game and get some cheap beer with chips and queso.

Food gets a C - its just plain, regular, greasy bar food - but not the kind you crave or love.

The beer selection gets a C. The atmosphere is fun though.

I really don't understand what all the hype is.

I love the Skybox.

That's about it.  The food is super--I have not had anything there I didn't like...and I've had their salads, chicken strips, cheesesteaks, tacos, bbq....order whatever sounds good to you--they definitely do not serve your traditional 'bar food'...The bartenders are fast and remember what you drink, and there are tons of tvs for games and trivia.

Plus, the staff is very socially active with the community, so it's a good hearted bunch of folks who run a pretty cool bar.

FYI:Turn your blinker on as you are pulling out of the parking lot--cops like to sit across the street and pull you over for minor BS to see if you are drunk.
