Located near A23 in the Delta terminal, this place serves up a decent craft beer list with Michigan represented at this time by Shorts, Atwater and Liberty Street on draft.  A few more other brewers in the bottle including Great Lakes and DBC.

this place is attached to the casino which is a plus since we had just left dinner at a greektown spot and wanted another drink or two.  there are a lot of tv's here (no surprise!) and  a LOT of guys.  when i first arrived with my husband at 7pm on a friday, i was the only girl in there!  they had good happy hour specials and attentive servers.

a note: martinis were part of happy hour deals, but be warned they are the mini martini glasses not the full size ones.  i wish i had gotten a beer instead!

One of the stops we made during our 6-7 layover at the airport, we sat at the bar and were served our drinks quite quickly.

The bartender/server was very nice and she was able to get our food and drinks in a very timely manner. I mean we had a long wait so it wouldnt really have mattered.

We ordered some beers, the nachos, a chicken quesadilla and a soup I believe...everything was decent, nothing special.

While we were there we did meet a nice lady who talked fast and was very specific about her reuben sandwich and gave us the fries since she said she wasnt fond of them. yup free fries!

Grab the Michigan Brewing Co. High Seas IPA.

Do NOT get the Niko's Three Way Chili; it's a poor representation of legitimate Cincinnati chili.

Hovered between 2.5 and 3 stars. Very good service. Came to ask my drink choice immediately and took my order within 5 minutes. Especially appreciative of getting the bill before I asked for it. Server also came to ask how everything was. Food wasn't bad, but not exceptional.  I had the Greek Salad. My biggest complaint is that the dish was really a "Decomposed" Greek Salad. No, NOT going bad, but the term refers to dishes that have all the ingredients it should have, but not combined.  Everything is in one bowl, but all layered, totally separately, on top of each other.- lettuce, big. (too big) tomato slices, Banana peppers (too many), olives, huge slab of feta, etc - all in separate clumps. I think people do that in an effort to be fancy or different, but most of the time it's just a consequence of laziness, costs the diner more time and effort, and totally eliminates the taste of blended flavors and textures, and besides, it's often difficult, if not impossible,  to mix everything that's overloaded in the small container.

weak food, slow service, stiff drinks if you need them...

This place is rough. The menu is well-written, which is a forgery cuz the food's being scraped off the neighboring Coney grill... if they just advertised that they were selling Coney food, I'd be less disappointed and would still order it. But don't advertise an authentic Chicago street dog with all the fixings, then serve a nasty steamed Coney dog with mustard ketchup and a giant pile of jalapeño pepper slices.

The service was kind of destitute and vacuous... I actually didn't mind being left alone for an hour, but once i was done and needed the bill in a hurry, it was hard to get that in action.

They've got a relatively full bar, and a double Maker's on the rocks helps a nasty ass coney dog with too much fire go down a little easier.

Detroit airport hockey bar. Yes. Fantastic. Molson on draft? Love it. I was here for a short layover and obviously took the time to plan out my visits in DFW. The taps were hockey masks which was pretty awesome and the food menu was typical all-American bar food at lower than expected airport prices. Only downside is that despite the lack of people in the bar that day, the waitress/bartenders were REALLY slow.

WARNING: If you happen to have more than a few beers, try to remember to get your tab early. My friends and I were a little excited to be consuming afternoon delights and lost track of time. That being said, the place had about 5 patrons in it, and we were 3 of them. The waitress was still really slow in getting our tab to us which I have never seen in an airport setting, usually they are thankfully, rather pushy in getting the tab to you.

So, I definitely recommend this place to stop for beers and food, just make sure you are super careful of the time as the service was particularly slow that day.
