Smiling Moose Deli

Great food, a little pricey but I feel like a lot of "Evansvillians" like to say everything's too expensive...I think its worth the price and the wait. they seem to have a VERY loyal and very large lunch crowd, so if you're a first timer, i'd recommend going in after lunch. the evening workers are very friendly and helpful. They cut up the the vegetables fresh on site and all of the meats which for me is a HUGE plus. would definitely return over and over!

Pros:
Nice atmosphere
Salads look good
Quality ingredients

Cons:
Prices are WAY too high
Menu was confusing
They messed up our order
Took a while to get our food
Bad parking lot makes it difficult to get in and out of the place

Bottom Line:
If I could ignore the fact that they messed up my carryout order and I had to throw away the wrong item, I'd still not return unless I had a REALLY good coupon or discount.  Their everyday menu prices are just way too high for a deli.

Good deli food that isn't the normal jazz.
