Logan's Roadhouse

I love the staff here. Everyone is friendly at least in the bar area.  Good food and drinks.

My brother loves this place so I went in to buy him a giftcard. Hostess said the bar had them and walked me over to the bartender, Tom. Total attitude! Tattoed, pierced, too cool for school kind of dude. Said he'd be right with me and left me standing there while he did a dozen other things. Another guys walks up and asked someone else for the same thing and was out the door in about a minute. The hostess noticed what was happening and ran over to apologize and sell me the giftcard. I've never eaten there and thanks to Tattooed Tom, I never will.

I recently made a stop in my hometown for a few days and a few friends and I went here for dinner. The peanut shells on the floor is pretty common at any steak place and wasn't as bad as it used to be at Lone Star way back in the 90s when I'd go there with my parents. I've since given up meat, but the people I went out with suggested this place. I'd been there when they first opened, right before I moved to Arizona, and I knew they had some of the best rolls around.

So, being that I'm a vegetarian (and a bread loving one at that), I filled up on rolls, broccoli and macaroni and cheese. There was an issue with the plates they brought us for rolls, but the server promptly removed them and brought out clean ones with a fresh basket of rolls for the six of us. My boyfriend ordered the salad and said it was pretty good. My two married friends got a "two dinners for one price" type of deal and both ordered chicken breasts. My friend's husband mentioned that he absolutely hates the pineapple it comes with and to please make sure they leave it off because he'd had problems with it in the past. My sister ordered the brownie sundae (which wound up taking three of us to finish).

Everything was brought out quickly and the order was entirely correct. The water glasses never needed to be refilled for long because the waiter was really good at staying on top of everything. This place was just as good as I remembered from when I was 14 when they first opened. Give it a try.
