Sonic Drive-In

I broke my Sonic cherry!  And, boy am I glad I did....I think the local Indy advertisements for Sonic are mean.  There is not one within 20 miles of me!! I suffer from constant cravings for Sonic's tantalizing treats but have not been near one ...until this past weekend.

My visit to Evansville was full of family fun, some youth football and a mere mention of Sonic put my niece into a tizzy!  I knew I was onto something.  

Let's start with the old skool vibe they are trying to accomplish.  I love that you pull up and without being rushed can examine the menu FULL of tasty deep fried deletables, as well as, artery filling burgers and lots of fun drinks!  I decided to get a sampling of everything and share with Erich and Max.

I got the jalepeno double cheeseburger, chicken nuggets, chili cheese dog, chili cheese tots (hollllly goooood looooord batman...gimme more!!) and a strawberry slushy (though I'm blanking on the name).  

Everything was DIIIIIVINE!!  I cannot believe that Sonic is not anywhere near me in Indy.  It is a massive disappointment!  The food came out fresh and fast delivered by an adorable Evansville high schooler on roller skates!  I was in pure drive-in heaven!!

Please give me more!  I recommend everything on the menu!
