I have been meaning to hit this place up for a long time and finally just got around to it. It's located on a section of Coleman with a lot of other restaurants so I can imagine it sometimes gets overlooked. The inside is casual and fun, gives off a hint of bar divey-ness without being dirty or dark. The shuffle board in the corner as well as the super cute tin pig lights above the booths make it feel like a great place to gather with a group.
My mother and I were some of the few people in there for lunch so service was very prompt. The menu wasn't very extensive, but they do have some classic lunch options to choose from. I went with the Philly Cheese sandwich and my mom opted for a burger with havarti cheese and a side of onion rings. The cheese steak was very tasty, with a good ratio of onions and peppers to meat. The burger was huge and juicy and paired well with the onion rings which were cut thin and lightly battered.
The only reason I'm giving this a 3 star instead of a 4 is that my fries were waaaay over cooked. As in you could barely bite into them. If it weren't for the fact that I was short on time and was already full from the other food, I would have sent them back and asked for some new ones. Me being the potato-loving-girl that I am, it's never a good thing to get bad fries. The quality of everything else would definitely lead me to go back and give them another shot on fries. Definitely looking forward to checking out their dinner and one of their bluegrass music nights soon.!
