Vickery's Bar & Grill

It's a bar, then a grill. The food is not great, but if you're looking for a decent bar scene, it is the place. Food was tasty, but portions a little lacking for the price...but then everything in Charleston is expensive.

Pros:
1) Great view!
2) No brunch menu (at least when we went around 11am on a weekday), but mimosas and bloody marys available!

Meh:
1) Not impressed with their shrimp, sausage and grits; it was tasty, but rather greasy. I had high expectations; the restaurant's in Charleston after all.

Eating out on the covered side deck made this for us along with the great sandwich of jerk chicken with raspberry mayo and fried plantains.  I will say that the jerk marinade was not as "spicy" as I would have expected but it was good non-the-less.  We were in a bit of a hurry due to an appointment we had for ThrillerCharleston that is docked right below Vickery's and our waitress made sure we had plenty of time to enjoy our sandwich and get to the dock at the appointed hour!
