Space Center is a great place to have a birthday party -especially for boys, and has much more to offer than say, Chucky Cheese. Our group had kids from age 4 to 15 and they all were well served by Space Center.

Everyone enjoyed the jungle gym, the laser tag and the bumper cars. I noticed plenty of college kids enjoying the moving climbing wall. Our server was attentive and excellent, I thought 3 hours sounded like a LONG time for a party ( it was at Chucky Cheese)  but the time flew as the kids moved quickly from one activity to the next, excellent pacing.

Food was fine, plenty of cake and each kid got their choice of about 6 flavors of ice cream. This might not be your favorite arcade (see other review) if that is all you are going in for- but for value and service  in the boys' party category,  all our guests loved Space Center.

From the outside Space Center it looks like a huge warehouse repurposed to be a giant arcade.  Once you walk inside, however, you see that it's a huge warehouse repurposed to be a medium-sized arcade with all the attractions liberally spaced out.

The arcade games housed within are less than impressive having very few of the classics from the golden era of arcade (70's-80's) and nothing made within the last 12 years, most of their stock of games being racing or shooting games made in the mid 90s like Hydro Thunder, Cruis'n USA or House of the Dead style games.

Food here is basic concession stand fare (pizza, hot dogs, burgers, fries, etc.) at basic concession stand prices (a bit higher than they should be) but, at least, is done very well.

Space Center has some larger activities like bumper cars, laser tag and an indoor playground.  These cost quite a bit extra (maybe the playground doesn't, being 27 and not having kids I've never tried it out) and, usually, aren't worth spending time on, although if you're really in the mood for laser tag it is pretty fun.

Their newest attraction that they have been advertising is a "Roller Coaster Simulator" which sounds a lot fancier than it really is.  In reality a TV in front of you plays a first-person perspective video of somebody riding a roller coaster and your seat shakes a little bit.  I've had more fun picking scabs, don't waste your time or money.

Overall Space Center, though big in area, offers very little compared to other arcades in NH (especially Funspot) and is home to the most forgettable, never-updated collection of games I have ever seen, but it is a good way to kill some time locally and shut the kids up for awhile.
