Like every other review has stated, this is a dive bar at it's finest. No frills, just cheap drinks, fun people, and a good time to be had. Filled with mostly regulars, the bartenders seem to know most everyone by name, and the patrons know each other via a friendly pool game or by sharing a pitcher of beer.
Bartenders are friendly and attentive, make you good drinks at a cheap price, and deserve good tips. Patrons are fun and friendly. Bar isn't the cleanest, but well-stocked with booze, TV's, pool tables, dart boards, and Buck Hunter games. A jukebox by the front door means the place is always filled with rock and country.
You can smoke inside, but it's not overpowering, and it's just a great place to have a drink and hang with some good folks. Had a great time here, recommended for all who like to have a good time and not deal with pretentious douches.
The dive bar experience is different than any other. Â You don't have soaring expectations, and want nothing more than a dark, dingy place to down inexpensive libations around other people with the same mindset. Â The Trail satisfies those expectations. Â It's certainly not fancy and the cleanliness is suspect, but beer and drinks are cheap enough and the patrons don't try to snatch your kidneys. Â When I make my list of Pcola dive bars, this joint will be on it.
