I was excited to come down here after I called and they were very accomodating on the phone. They don't normally take reservations but because we had a child, they reserved us a table and had our football game on for us when we got there.
The service is extremely slow, we could only order from the breakfast menu despite it being lunch time and we ended up leaving to find somewhere else. Â We sacrificed the football game we were dying to watch.. Haha
It's probably a great place for drinking at the bar during a game but don't hold your breath for table service.
Was the hang-out for the Montana State Bobcat vs University Montana Grizzly Football telecast at the Sports Page. It's a fun place to party. Breakfasts are good. They need to change their Bloody Mary Mix and eliminate the asparagus spear. It's got a strange - bitter flavor. For your information, Kimo's has the best Bloody Marys in town. Especially when the Bobcats beats the Griz!
Review Source:Ugh. Not the best place to go on a Saturday night. Overcrowded, impossible to get a drink and once you have that drink good luck finding a location to stand in so you can enjoy that drink.
Worst part of all the bartenders turned on the bright lights and started kicking everyone out at 1 a.m. on the dot. Yeah, I know this the TC but come on, isn't last call at 1:30???
The bartenders literally went up to everyone in the bar (and there was still a good crowd) and told everyone to down their drinks because they were closing now.
This place is sort of a Jeckyl/Hide kind of place. During the mornings and into the afternoon it is frequented mostly by folks in their 30's and older. At night it seems to be more of a young persons hotspot.
My wife and I really enjoy it during the day. We've had several breakfasts and lunches there and never been disappointed. Â The service is always friendly and jovial. They make their own Bloody Mary mix and we really, really like it. Â A lot!
The food is always good, and it's the kind of place where you can usually strike up a conversation with another patron if you so desire. One of our favorite places to just hang and enjoy a cocktail and maybe some food.

There isn't a whole lot really to say about this place. Â It wasn't all that spectacular and there wasn't anything that memorable about the place. Â We went in for breakfast which I didn't even know they served. Â The place was pretty empty but that's to be expected, it was kind of a nice change of pace. Â The place was pretty clean and the decor was pretty nice.
The service was mediocre she didn't go out of her way but she came back to see how we were doing a few different times. Â Didn't bombard us but didn't leave us hanging for too long either.
Now it's hard to find a good hashbrown. Â I'm not a fan of the shredded and so it was a bonus when I got my food and I see homemade cut up potatoes cooked just crispy enough for my liking. Â Unfortunately that's about the extent of my rave. Â The portion sizes were pretty descent, left feeling just full enough. Â I honestly would much rather be able to eat everything and leave feeling full, rather than eat everything and feel over full.. ok, well I guess I wouldn't have to eat everything, but it's just so hard not to finish my plate. Â I also don't see any reason in taking breakfast home in a doggy bag. Â Now lunch or dinner, that's a whole other story.
Anyways, I don't think we will be back to this place anytime soon, but it's not a place that we will stay away from. Â Neither me nor Jeremy like crowded places too much so if we do end up heading back here, we'll most likely stick to the breakfast or lunch times.
There's nothing worse than someone who refuses to embrace who they are. Â Like the middle-aged dude with the combover, or women who dress like they're 16 instead of 36, it's embarrassing and makes me cringe inside. Â The Sports Page is having an identity crisis. Â It's forgotten that it's located in a small town, not a thriving metropolitan hub. Â As such, it should have friendly bartenders, cheap drinks, and a jukebox loaded with Led Zeppelin, Patsy Cline, The Rolling Stones, etc. Â It should not have men who tan and/or use more hair product than I do, drinks served in anything other than a pint/highball glass, or play Top 40 hits. Â We like our small-town trashiness served straight up, not some watered down version, thank you very much.
Review Source:This downtown favorite has had a recent remodel which ahas given it a much needed face lift. The bar is usually packed on the weekend with a younger crowd, but a weekday will find quality bar fare and plenty of TV's to catch any sporting event you might want. With pool tables and dart boards this place will keep you occupied if you need a diversion. Large selection of beer and drinks at a low price will keep you coming back.
