Very good burgers at an inflated price.
There's no reason that a burger lunch for two should cost $30.
Service was good. Burger selection was excellent, and as I said, the burgers themselves were good. Not large, but good and filling. The accompanying fries, both potato and sweet potato, were good too.
For $30, I can go elsewhere and have something that's not a burger though. (Even though they were really good!)
I've eaten here several times and fall more in love each visit. I usually get the Rise and Shine which is a cheeseburger with bacon and fried egg on it. "Egg on burger?" you say. Yes, I'm telling you, its delicious. Another delish bite here is the Zep's for dessert. My only qualm is how greasy everything is, but I'm going out for a $15 burger to expect it to be healthy. Still a lil less of the grease factor would be great.
Review Source:This place is a great hangout. The burgers aren't over the top, but they're delicious. And got to love the beer selection. The decor was cool, the staff was nice. If this place is a chain, they're doing a good job of not being the usual chain. I absolutely recommend for the price as well as the quality.
Review Source:trying once again. Â Once again an overcooked medium burger with an odd dense texture. Â Not quality meat at all and a $8.99 a real rip. Â I was asked if I like it and said I did not but had left my payment on the table: Â $17 for the burger, onion rings (which were ok but lacking seasoning) and an iced tea. Â The manager comped my lunch, which I appreciated. Â I think they are trying but better ramp it up quickly.
Review Source:After hearing all the hype, my friend and I were super excited to try Square 1's vegetarian options - you can substitute a vegan burger for any of the other proteins on the menu. I ordered the triple mushroom cheeseburger with a veggie burger, and what came out was all kinds of wrong. The 'patty' was more like a scoop of oatmeal on a bun, it was inedible. My friend ordered a regular ole cheeseburger (veggie style), and while her patty was more recognizable as a burger, she didn't get cheese. As much as I hate to be that person, I had to ask the server to take my food back. 15 minutes later, the manager arrived with a new meal, which was much more acceptable. We mentioned that the other burger wasn't that great either, but my friend was too hungry to worry about sending it back. When the server arrived with our check, she informed us that our meals were comped - absolutely not necessary, but very much appreciated. Unfortunately, the customer service was the only impressive part of our meal.
Review Source:Eager to try a new restaurant, and was horribly disappointed. We ordered an order of Mushroom egg rolls, which were bland and tasteless. The only thing that made it tolerable was the spicy ranch dressing it was served with. Our meal consisted of the All American burger and the Greek Burger (made of lamb), both ordered medium. The burgers came to us cold and raw in the middle. The only good thing was the fries. Unless samonella poisoning in your plans for the day, find somewhere else to eat.
Review Source:The onion rings were some of the best I have ever had! And that sauce...oh my goodness was it yummy! Just know that those onion rings are enough to feed a small army. The decadent diva sandwich was very good, not great, but very good. I loved the Brie cheese on it. The cole slaw was not very good. There was no flavor and it was pretty dry. Overall, our waitress was very friendly and prompt with our refills and checking on us. And the decor was just fabulous!
Review Source:This new restaurant opened recently in the Best Buy center at Cleveland and Fowler. Â It went up like a shot-amazingly fast. Â I am a huge burger fan so it was on my list for a while and finally went to try it this past weekend. Â Very nice decor with a nice bar area with several flat screen TV's. Â They have a big selection of craft beers that I will definitely try on another visit. Â Sat down and started looking at the menu when a plate of onion rings on an adjoining table caught my eye. Â I am also a huge fan of Black Cow Milkshakes and that was on the daily specials list. Â My wife and I each ordered a Black Cow Shake and an appetizer of the oniion rings. Â Oh my, shortly afterward the wonderful and friendly waitress brought out our shakes and a huge mountain of onion rings. Â They were the best I have ever had, double dipped in buttermilk with a great tasting batter fried to a crip golden brown and served with Sooner Sauce, which was a thin 1000 Island style dressing with just a hint of heat. Â We coould only eat a third of them and took the rest home. Â I ordered a BBQ Bacon Burger which is made with Angus beef. Â Side note, they have a whole section of the menu describing their meat and how it is raised, etc. Â You almost feel like you know the cow they are using which may be upsetting to some people--not me!! Â The burger was nicely charred on the outside and was cooked perfectly to a medium rare and was very juicy. Â My only downside would have been the Macaroni and Cheese which I substituted as a side in place of fries. Â Pretty ordinary, as a matter of fact tasted like Kraft Homestyle. Â Otherwise an outstanding experience and one I will definitely be experiencing again on many future visits.
