The Standard Martini Bar

Amazing food! I had a great turkey sandwich, and I was tempted to try one of their champagne cocktails. Will be back, I'm sure.

I love The Standard.  My Dominican and I both had crab-related food (the crab cakes and he had a crab po'boy).  The spicy cajun mayo stuff on top...too die for.  And I had like...too many French Martinis.  I do not regret it, though.  They were SO GOOD.  My compatriots complained about the price.  P'shaw.  The prices were reasonable for a lovely environment, live music, and a very, very friendly and patient waitress who put up with my good friend's advances toward her.  The food was good.  The drinks were delish.  I will be back...too many times.

Was looking for a place to grab a drink before the Carrie Underwood concert and ended up at The Standard.   One of the main reasons being the happy hour special which runs from 4 to 7 everyday.   The beer portion of that is $3 beers.  

They have no drafts beers so your choices were bottles only.   There was a good selection so choose Blonde Fatale from the Peace Tree Brewing company out of Knoxville.   Same price as a basic domestics.   There is a good section of Martinis.  

We ordered a basic burger, crab cakes and a turkey sandwich with a risotto as the side.   The burger was cooked well but lacking on the toppings.  There was maybe two small chopped tomatoes little if  any onions and no bacon.    The risotto was more like a soupy mess is rice with heavy cheese.  Definitely would not get hat again.

The service was excellent.  If you want a decent place to grab a drink after work this is a good option.   The food needs some work.
