After a morning of my neighbor's thinking I have a horrid case of Tourette's syndrome from frequent spewing of classic (and some damn good original) vulgarities brought on from hitting numerous hidden driveway cracks while shoveling snow, I needed a get away.
Steamer's Coffeehouse brought me back to normalcy. Allowing me to warm up, settle down, breathe deep and just relax...it's just what the neighbor's would have ordered.
Thank you for always having a great staff, friendly smiles, a steaming cup of house blend java and nobody mentioning it looked like I combed my hair with a firecracker.
After a long afternoon at the Westminster dog park I was looking for a place to grab a cold beverage and something to eat and this place wasn't to far and fit the bill.
By the name alone I thought I was walking into a coffee shop. Â Oh contrare, it's a coffee shop, restaurant, with a full bar as well. Â Very pleasantly surprised. Â
I decided to sit at the bar, ordered a nice cold beer from the smiley waitress and perused the menu for something tasty. Â I noticed this place takes pride in their sliders, they have fifteen different varieties which includes pulled pork, crab cakes, philly style and the like. Â I decided to go down a different path and order a club sandwich on wheat with fries. Â The food was presented beautifully and if I had a charge left to my phone I would've taken a picture. Â The wheat bread was homemade, not the wheat out of a bag. Â Every ingredient shined through and the fires are a little bigger than shoestring fries and nice and crispy and served piping hot. Â I watched a lot of food come out of that small kitchen in the back and each dish looked better than the last, cudo's on plating to the back of house.
There is a sizable patio in the back that looked fabulous on a sunny CO day. Â The staff was very attentive and were always there when I needed a refill or something else. Â
If I was in the area again I would definitely make it a point to come here again and try the sliders.
This looks like a really nice place. It is combined with a regular alcohol bar. I have never seen that before. The girl behind the counter was very warm and friendly despite the fact that my brother and I were dressed in painting clothes and did not fit in at all with the normal crowd. I always appreciate it when I'm not discriminated against for being in work clothes. We only came for the Ice Coffee and didn't plan on staying. Unfortunately the Ice Coffee was not the best. Only a few establishments around town really take their Ice Coffee seriously. This is not one of them.
Review Source:I was introduced during a business meeting... Â The first thing that struck me- Â a friendly face came up and took my order.
Yes. Â Table service at a coffee house. Â
The second thing was the incredible food coming out of the kitchen.
After that I noticed the bar, complete with 5 beers on tap, located at the back of the place. Â And then I noticed something else- nearly everyone working there was disabled in some way, except the crew leaders for the shift. Â The owners are often on site as well.
Portions are ample and prices are vey good- Â you can get a full breakfast for less than $8! Â The atmosphere is amazing and I can honestly say I wish we had something like this where I live- Â a full service eatery that has something for every moment of the day.
The food is fantastic, from the salads to the beef/crab/chicken/tuna sliders and an incredible value. Everything is fresh and delicious; definitely look for the homemade items, such as the blue cheese aoili, the chipotle mayo, or the ranch dressing.
The portions are generous. It's a wonderful neighborhood place, with the owners constantly present and personally attentive. They seem to have developed friendships with many regulars.
The staff are friendly and the whole place has a wonderfully relaxed vibe, whether it's crowded or not.
For $7.95, you get three sliders and a full plate of string fries (or salad) and Wednesday nights are the sliders are half price! We go every week; it's a fantastic deal.
For a coffeehouse, the food was surprisingly good. The menu is much larger than I had expected. They offer anything from soup to sliders. I really enjoyed my veggie wrap. I'm a carnivore that normally has trouble ordering anything without meat unless it's a salad, but the veggie wrap was full of flavor. I'm also a sucker for anything with avocado slices.
Our waitress was great. She was friendly, quick and attentive. I was dining with a couple people that I would classify as "high maintenance diners." I cringed at the couple times they complained about something with their food, but our waitress handled it like a pro. At one point, the cook or maybe he was the manager, came out and apologized to someone at our table for the soup being too salty. Turns out he tried it and found it to be too salty as well. The whole table was impressed at how the staff handled the situation. Overall, this coffeehouse has a welcoming and relaxing feel to it.
I would definitely go back to try some of their coffee and breakfast items.
Great restaurant (slash) coffee house. Â Earl Grey latte was only $1.86. Â That's incredible considering Starbucks charges close to $3 (that's not even the new Trenta!). Â Waitress came to wipe a crumb laiden table when she saw me eye'ing it. Â She brought me a menu although I was on the coffee side and most people order at the counter top. Â
If I weren't dieting I'd be having a German Chocolate cake specialty latte. Â Scones look monstrous and tempting. Â I'd luv to try this place for lunch or dinner but I live too far away and it's highly unlikely I'll be here again. Â DARN! Â :-)
We came here before a meeting and decided to grab dinner because we had time. The staff was so amazingly attentive and caring from the second we walked in. There wasn't an available table at the time and we were seated at the bar with the assurance that they would get a table (it's open seating) ASAP. I felt like we were waited on by three people and they all seemed genuine. I had the Cobb salad with the additional tuna. The value for the price was great. The tuna steak was perfectly seared and left good and rare in the middle. Also apparently on Wednesdays all sliders are half-off, which we realized after we ordered. Needless to say sliders were flying out of the kitchen and they = looked great.
Again, staff were helpful, friendly, and were handling a rush like pros!
There's a really small retail business complex in the middle of a huge trendy new home development off of 80th and Indiana. Steamers is on the south side of the little group of shops. Nice room and the coffee was okay. Their baked goods offerings were pretty meager. The staff are very nice. I unfortunately stumbled into a group business meeting being held in the shop. The business group was having lunch there so they serve food also. Not a fave for me but it looks like they have a good location.
