Wasn't too sure about this place, as others have also mentioned. However, the waitress was very pleasant and food was pretty good.

I got the fish n' chips aka waffle fries and a pretty expensive cup of Beef Stew that had two small pieces of beef and about 6 huge chunks of potatoes.  I would have thought this small cup of soup would have been at most $2.00, but it was $3.50!!  That was the most disappointing part of the experience though. The fish was okay, but I wouldn't agree with the "best in town" comments.

My bf got the Reuben, which looked pretty good. He liked it. He also got a pretty good size salad with his meal.

So, two meals, a cup of soup, and two beers cost us $30.45.  Not real cheap considering it's pub food, but the service was friendly and atmosphere was pretty quiet for a Saturday afternoon.

I was looking for a place to have a beer with a friend and catch up, since I hadn't seen her in a while. I yelped for a bit and found out that this place was fairly close so I decided to stop by.
I gotta admit, I was a bit hesitant when I parked there. Not too many cars, and the place looked like a warehouse on the outside...
But I'm glad I went in and decided to stay.
This pub is just the right amount of divey.
The place is narrow, as mentioned here somewhere, but not the way that would make you feel uncomfortable...Lots of tvs playing football, basketball...
The have a patio, but it was cold so I didn't pay much attention to it...

Everyone looked very friendly, and the service was awesome! I felt like if I was there alone I'd have made a lot of friends (since I was with a friend already, we sat at a booth on the corner, kind of isolated from the bar).

The menu looked pretty good, lots of options, so we decided to eat. We opted for the fish and chips and the shepherds pie. Both really really good. I'd be back for that, for sure. Lots of good drink specials too. Cheap beer and shots.
    Worth a try.

    I'm in LOVE.

Clancy's has quickly become my go-to place for mood uplifting drinks and food. It's a place where I feel totally relaxed to just hang out, eat some greasy delicious food and escape from the day.

At first glance of the outside, you might wonder... "Ummm, really? This place passes health codes 'n' stuff?" Well, that's what my fellow diner said anyway. But once you belly up to the bar, grab a dark beer and partake of the awesomeness that is their food, you'll slap yourself for being so damn judgmental.

The food is delicious. They have the best fish 'n' chips and shepherds pie I've had in a long long time. The staff is friendly. They aren't overbearing but engage in a good convo when prompted. It seems like a lot of regulars go here. I hope to obtain that status shortly.

Coming back as soon as possible. *muah*
