Great place.  Found a new favorite wine but I can't seem to remember the  name which means have to go back... darn!

I wanted to love the "Stellar Cellar"! The interior is great-there's a nice big bar/lounge with room to gather around its perimeter. The dining area is also inviting, hip, and implies that Stellar Cellar is not only cool, but is wine-focused and aims to deliver a fine dining experience.
The menu is nice-there could be a few more fish and veggie options but our party of 5 found choices we liked and were very happy with the the food we ordered.

Here's the problem-the quality of the service and the knowledge of the staff. We got a wine list and when we asked the server for recommendations it immediately became clear he knew nothing about the wines being offered. Stellar Cellar??? The servers MUST be knowledgeable about the wine list. Our server suggested we look at the wines displayed near the entrance. Um, thanks-very helpful. We selected a red & white on our own. the server brought the red, but just showed us the white which was at room temperature and said he would chill it. What? No, we explained-we want to open & drink both of these now! He didn't understand what the problem was so we just gave up, drank the red, and ordered a few cocktails as the white chilled. About a half hour after being seated-we each had something to drink.

Overall, the service was painfully amateur.

If the Stellar Cellar wants to succeed long term and be considered a gem and a place Riverside County can be proud of, they need to learn from the big boys. Service matters, service sells. The staff needs a real training program so a high level of service is given to every guest-a level of service everyone employed can be proud of and one that makes customers confident in returning to and recommending the Stellar Cellar.

Great place to enjoy great wine!  Mellow flavor all the way around.  Try it and you'll love it.

This place has a great friendly atmosphere from the staff to the patrons.  The owner is ready to help and is knowledgeable about the variety of wines offered and limited (but fair) selection of beers.  Even better, he occasionally caters a meal (once a month, if I am not mistaken), which is delectable.

On Friday and Saturday nights the bar hosts live bands which usually play a variety of rock.  Both times I have been in on these nights, the bands were great!

The front patio is a great place to sit and people watch, but on busy nights, you will likely have to deal with smokers.  When I was sitting outside, smokers usually asked if it was ok before they lit up too close to me.

While the price is higher than most other alcohol serving establishments in the area, this place's staff, atmosphere, and entertainment make it worth the price.

    Love this spot!

We were wine tasting in Temecula for the weekend and looking for something fun to do after dinner in Olde Town.

Thank goodness the BF spotted a sign for live music on saturday nights. We were lucky enough to catch the Missy Anderson Band. They were awesome, and so was the house sangria!

Cozy, friendly little bar on the main street Old Town of Temecula. Saunter up to the unique cork topped bar and settle in on a warm, afternoon with the sun filtering in softly.

A nice selection of beers and wines and if you don't know what you like, they can help suggest.  But I like the "cocktails" that are available using the beer and wine. Unique and refreshing blends like the Union Beer Cocktail with aperol and orgeat will quench your buds and revive your spirit after a dusty warm day on the winery trail.

Like some spice? Try the Caliente, a haberno spiked beer:

If you like champagne, a simple Champagne cocktail with framboise is really nice.

There is live entertainment on the weekend evenings that I have there with some classic rock and other classic favorites.

I have always had wonderful and friendly service from Julian, the bartender/owner. The patrons have always been friendly, and its just a nice comfortable, unpretentious, cozy little place to relax in the afternoon or listen to tunes in the evening.

Compact, tasty selection of draft beers (6$ typically) and tasty sangria as well. I always have a great time during Friday nights and hope to visit on other evenings.

***updated ownership to 'Front Street Union'***

I bumped up my rating one star because the owner Julian contacted me to find out who our server was and addressed the problem. This is a business owner that really cares about the service she puts out...and those are the local businesses that I love supporting!

I will definitely be coming back to give it another try. Until then, I will have to leave it at 3 stars

Last week I stopped by the new Front Street Union (formerly Stellar Cellar) and was blown away by the transformation of the place.  The inside has been completely redone and  has this fun, fresh, eclectic, retro-music theme to it.

The beer selection has expanded and there are now several on tap beers to choose from in addition to beer cocktails.  I didn't try a beer cocktail but if they are as good as the Sangria they serve I know I won't be disappointed.

I've had some amazing wine here and was pleased to see that the owner Julian has kept with a broad and interesting selection.  There's always something new to try and Julian is helpful and generous with the tastings so you always get just what you're looking for.

Call it a hipster joint, call it a beer lovers bar, call it a chill wine lounge, it's all of these!  I can't wait to return on a weekend to listen to live music, sit out front on the patio and enjoy the awesome hospitatliy and friendly crowd which makes this place special.

Excellent wine, beautiful music, and a patio to smoke cigars. It's an excellent night in Temecula, folks! The song choice paired with my glass of pinot is irresistible!

Love this place. Awesome, chill vibe in the middle of old town. Great selection of just the right wines. The barkeep will suggest a wine based on your tastes at the time.

The music they play in there lends to the atmosphere. You can also have your glasses of wine out on the Front Street patio area and watch people pass by.

This is just what Temecula needs and you should go if you like good wine and a cool vibe.

In Old Town Temecula. Tiny place we stopped in for Happy Hour, good deal. Loved the decor. Julian the bartender was friendly. It wasn't noisy since it was a weekday so we were able to chat at the bar.
Nice area outside on the porch available to sit and drink.
I would definitely visit again when I'm in the area.

I have been a customer for a while now, and this is favorite Old Town Temecula hangout.  Live music on Friday and Saturday nights.  Julian, the owner and bartender not only knows his wines, but is also a gourmet chef.  This is the place to go if you want to chill, listen to some tunes and have some quality wine or beer.

My girlfriends and I had such a fabulous time at Stellar Cellar. We stopped by for their happy hour (which they have even on the weekend). The place had a decent crowd of people. The bartender, Julian, was also the owner. He was very knowledgeable about all of the wines there. He even let us taste the ones we were unsure about.
We had such a good time there, that we came back later that night. There was fabulous live entertainment. The atmosphere was very laid back but fun. The owner was very accommodating to all the clientele, even the obnoxious ones.
    We will definitely be back.

One of the best places to just relax and enjoy. Very cool little spot right in the middle of old town. Good wine selection and an even better atmosphere.

Hands down, my favorite place to be in Temecula! Since moving down a couple months ago my husband and I have been looking for a sophisticated, relaxed place to hang out like we had in Santa Barbara. Stellar Cellars is our go to place. Since I like a variety of wines, I just say what I am in the mood for and they recommend the most amazing wines.

They do have a variety of bottled beers to choose from as well. The beer they have on tap is Stella Artois. My husband loves their old fashion tap and claims the best Stella he has ever had.

Everyone who works there is helpful and friendly. If you are looking for a nice relaxing place to dink some amazing wine from around the globe, go to Stellar Cellars.

Ambled into Old Town Temecula on a whim after an afternoon of wine tasting and stopped in here for a normal sized glass of wine.  We were greeted warmly by the owner/expert wine pourer as we sidled up to the bar.  He had a great selection of wines, many of them international, which were evenly split between whites and reds.  Naturally, they looked all the more appealing once we were informed it was happy hour ($2 off of all wines, $5 beers).  And it was a Saturday!  We had the Pinot Noir, red Zinfandel, Moscato and Stella and all were excellent.  The pours were very generous which was quite happiness-inducing.  We were also lucky to be surrounded by great patrons and overall had an awesome experience here. I was kinda sad to leave, I'm not gonna lie. I'm already looking forward to our next trip back.

This is a very genuine and high quality wine lounge. They provided a set of delicious horsdoerves (sp?) and had an Argentine wine specialist on hand for the tasting. Everyone was professional as well as friendly and fun. In sum, it was a pleasant surprise to see these guys really pull off a legitimate Temecula wine experience. The other guests were also fun and friendly.
