I tried the angus beef burger. Â The burger reminded me of a dehydrated beef patty that came out of an MRE (meal ready to eat) package that is usually provided to military personnel in the field. Â "Just add water"....With that said, I couldn't finish it and went with a good old fashion hot dog. Â This along with a root beer float made up for the burger disappointment. Â Overall, the place was clean, the waitress was friendly and attentive. You can't go wrong with a dog & RB Float...
Review Source:Went here for lunch yesterday in the middle of a work day. The place is pretty big, with nice decor, and clean. There appeared to be only 2 people working which may be why the waitress appeared overwhelmed. There was a large group of people there when we arrived, but only a couple tables when we left. The waitress was friendly and service was prompt. They also have TVs around the restaurant, which is nice.
I had the Shroom burger and fries, and a root beer float, and I was pleased with my food. The fries were better than expected: hot, fresh, and perfectly salted. The burger was cooked to my preference, had a good amount of cheese and mushrooms, and was nice and juicy. My root beer float was good, in a frosted mug as it should be. :)
I would go here again when I'm in the mood for a good old fashioned burger and fries, or soda float.
We went here for lunch. Daughter ordered chicken wrap and thought there was too much dressing. She thought the dressing was very strong and didn't care for it. I ordered the hot dog and thought it was all right. Hubby ordered the chili dog and thought it was no big deal. They offered a clean looking salad bar and might try it next time. What bothered me was that I didn't see any greens there. The booth behind me ordered the salad and the waitress brought them a bowl of greens so that they build their own salad. Place was ok. The one thing that stood out about this place is that it's really clean.
