La Piazza

My wife and I decided to try this place because of a <a href="/redir?url=http%3A%2F%2FRestaurant.com&s=0aab4cbd731f3d3b0d1453050d3abc56a8c80bd214e25469c7555b750dca8a51" target="_blank" rel="nofollow">http://Restaurant.com</a> certificate and the reviews on yelp. I must say that we weren't disappointed. At first when we walked in we thought it was a small pizza joint until the person opened the door to the back room where there was a nicely done dinning area.

I had the veal rollatini  which was a little on the salty side, but a nice portion size and flavor. My wife had a seafood dish over pasta with marinara and she could only eat half. She enjoyed her's also.

We will definitely go back again to try some of their other menu items.

The owner did stop by to see how everything was which I can't remember the last time that has happened.

One disappointment to us was the fact that when I received the bill I noticed they had already added in the gratuity. I've never had that happen for a party of 2. Maybe because we had a coupon they wanted to make sure they were tipped based on the bill before the coupon. (which we always do but I know some people don't) Either way made me feel like I wasn't trusted to leave the appropriate tip.

Otherwise a nice experience and we wish we were closer!

Delicious food! I enjoyed the veal marsala, and my food mates enjoyed the chicken parmegiana and an assortment of wraps. My 2-year-old nephew gave thumbs up to the whole wheat penne and french fries.

Dining room is nice but very noisy, I'm guessing because of the mirrors and the marble walls.      

They first brought out bread sticks which were warm and fresh.  

Next came the salads.  I had the house dressing which was very good.   My girlfriend did notice some wilted lettuce and overripe tomatoes, but mine was fine.  

i had the Veal Parmigiana, which was large and VERY GOOD.  This was the best veal parm I've had in a long time.   The sauce I chose was Marinara which was also very good.  

My girlfriend had the chicken Marsala which she said was very good.  

The service was very good.

The owner was very attentive making sure everything was good.   He came back several times ala Artie Bucco

Would definitely recommend.
