This place is a gem! The service is great and the food even better. Our family owns a house in Jackson but have never visited Stieglers ( big mistake because this place is in my top 3 restaurants in Jackson Hole now ). If you like cookie cuter restaurants, this is not the place for you. If you like very authentic, perfectly flavored unique dishes, you will love this place. We had 4 courses and every one was beyond excellent and we all shared multiple dishes. Â
Our server was over the top nice and accommodating - the chef introduced himself and was straight from Austria. Don't miss this place and save it for your big night out, its not cheap but its worth it.
Peter Steigler is the ultimate host. A must visit when in the Valley for skiing. My first impression until my last experience has been wonderfull. Last year I shared with Peter we hade been coming here every year for the last 10 years, and he lavished upon us desert and drinks. Before relocting to Wilson, he was near teton Village, I highley recommend the Parmeson Crusted Trout, Fresh caught and boneless, it melts in your mouth. What was even more eye catching is how coffee is served, along side you get a chocalate waker with a dollop of whip cream, this goes into the coffee, very decadent. The rest of the menu is just as appetizing and delicious.
Review Source:Absolutely fabulous food and service. A friend recommended this spot so highly, and we were lucky to get a last-minute res. Â The owner temporarily retired for a year, so there is some online confusion about their status. Â Be advised they re-opened in summer 2011, and are simply the best in the area.
