What a great time I had here! Absolutely funny comedians and the club has a very classy, cool ambiance. I will definitely be back!

This place is great!  Went here with a small group of friends to celebrate my husbands birthday and had a blast!  The food was good and fairly inexpensive.  My husband actually looked at the bill and said it was the cheapest date night ever!  They only serve beer and wine, which is fine with us, but that may not fly for a picky person.  The comedy was good and funny and definitely made our group laugh!

The staff was helpful and very nice.  I even called beforehand and spoke to the owner and he was super friendly!

I'm glad we found this little comedy club so close to home!  We'll definitely be back and highly recommend it to others!

Located inside Endless Food and Food. Nice clean and comfortable comedy club where you are NOT packed in so tightly seating wise like at the Improv. Every seat is close to the stage for your viewing pleasure. Nice selection of premium craft beers at at reasonable $15 for a good sized pitcher served by a diligent and attentive staff. Pleasantly surprised at the quality of the talent on the particular night we went. The opening comic, who is also one of the owners, is tritely mediocre but bearable, does his job well to make the following acts look better.  "Clean" comedy seems to be their motif as all of the three comics refreshingly avoided profanity, though they do advertise more adult "R-Rated" comedy shows. Exceptional value at $15 entry fee, they do offer discounts if you join their VIP mailing list at their website.  Only downside was the restrooms were a serious hike across the arcade  from the club. A great time and value without having to drive to Brea or South Irvine for comedy.

Visited 2/2/13. My girlfriend and I were looking for a comedy club that was closer and cheaper than the Improv and the Laugh Factory. Having been to Endless Food and Fun before, I was expecting about 30 people here tops. However it was a packed house, and for good reason. The comedians were great! Its a small enough venue that the comedians can interact easily with the audience. Also the small setting makes it so that there really isn't a bad seat in the house. The two item minimum isn't a burden because drinks are reasonably priced (most pints priced at $5, good selection) and the food is pretty good too, (we got garlic fries for $5, big enough to split.) If you join their emailing list they send you a coupon so it was only $10 each to get in. $20 each for drinks and a show? I'll be back for sure.

Had my birthday party here with a few friends.  The staff was very friendly, and the show was funny.  The guy at the end (Eric Blake) was the funniest!  I loved his show.  Good place to go for some laughs.

    Solid 3.5 star Comedy Club.

This past Friday I came with a party of six to Surf City Comedy Club to celebrate a friends 30th birthday. This Club is located inside of Endless Food and Fun, which my boyfriend shamelessly said reminded him of a second rate Chuck E Cheeses (which I agreed). I found it a little off that we were going to see an adult friendly comedy show while little kids were running around just outside the door.

A breakdown of what I observed of this club:

*$10.50 each for admission if you can find a deal online. $15 at the door.

*Minimum of two item purchase per person (pretty standard).

*My boyfriend and I ordered three alcoholic drinks and one appetizer and the total came to $40 with tip.

*Service is spot on. I like!

*Three comedy acts. One was horrid (you could hear a pin drop after every "joke"!), one was mediocre, and the last guy was pretty decent and I got a few good laughs in (his name was Steve Smith -- but, he did appear to be either high or drunk while performing). For $10.50 admission, I got what I paid for.

*Small, intimate and semi-classy club. Very cool vibe.

*On a Friday evening show, there was only about 15 people in the crowd, which I found pretty odd. We did get picked on quite a few times because of this.

*There is a karaoke place located inside Endless Food and Fun which we were going to go do post show. But, the drunk people inside and the sketchy crowd turned us off.

Overall, an A-OK place. Would I come back here? Sure, but only with a good deal. This place does have potential and I hope that they continue trying to make this place better and better!

    Cheers!

"Are you sure there is a comedy club in here"? That is what you will be saying to yourself, but there is, and its really nice.

Full bar and food, plus the comedy is top notch. This is a great find. I definitely recommend this club.

Awesome. For the price of a 3d movie I found the comics to be funny and the food and drinks were reasonable.  It was a much better deal than the Improv which costs twice as much and is a much longer drive for me.  If you are in the area, I suggest you try this place you will not be disappointed.

Was not disappointed in the show at all. Service was a little sketchy, drinks were mixed up, and food just ok. Got the tickets from Goldstar Events, so wasn't too expensive.
    Would try again sometime.

EFF isn't the nicest of places - but once you get inside the comedy club portion, it's pretty nice.  It's a quaint little theater area with a small bar, but the bar doesn't serve liquor :(   They do offer "wine based" liquors but those don't taste good at all.  The sangria is OK, a little on the tart side.

As far as the comedy, there was one guy at the very end who was pretty hysterical.  The others were OK, not terrible but not anything I would go see twice.

Service was good - since they are new they are still training a few people but we didn't have any problems with our drink order.

This was our first time to a comedy club.  Overall a good experience.  The comedians were very good and engaged the audience well. Crüe drinks were so so.

ALL I CAN SAY IS:  GREAT! GREAT! GREAT!!  They get top notch comedians.  Andrew Norelli was on David Leterman a week after appearing at the Surf City Comedy Club.  I am loving the shows and plan on going back on a weekly basis.  Great food, drinks and the jokes will have you rolling in the aisles.  Thank you Bob Perkell for bringing comedy back to H.B.

Located inside Endless food & Fun (kinda dead - but has potential). The comedy club is nicely set up with individual table seats so you can order food and drinks. Decent appetizer selection (we already had dinner so didn't try the apps). We had front seats, you will get picked on but its harmless.

The crowd is middle aged and up. The comedians that night were decent. The headliner was surprisingly funny. Lots of old man jokes/references, but entertaining.

Was very skeptical of this place considering I had never heard of it before and it is located inside the Endless Food and Fun. However, I saw the sign recently and love comedy so I decided to give it a try. Tickets were 15 bucks, pretty reasonable for a comedy show. I heard they had some groupon and living social deals, so you may want to keep an eye on that as well. Endless Food and Fun is kind of a poor man's Dave and Busters. It's a pretty depressing place. Head left upon entering straight into the club to minimize your interaction with EFF.

My GF and I were pleasantly surprised when we entered. The place was packed and a good energy with the crowd. There is a two drink minimum, so be prepared. I ordered the sangria, which was pretty tasty. We also ordered a quesadilla which wasn't bad. You can't expect too much with food from a comedy club. The food was decent but don't expect a 5 star experience.

We saw two female comedians, and they were awesome, we laughed our butts off and had a great time. I highly recommend this place. Don't let the cheesy, depressing location scare you off. Head on over to surf city comedy club and have some fun!

OMG Went to Surf City Comedy last night and had a blast!!!  I laughed so hard I was crying.  The outside looks like "really a club is in here" but when you get inside you forget there are kids playing in the arcade outside (only if you brought your kids, you might not want to forget) Great ambiance, intimate setting and friendly staff. I will definately go back many more times.

This is a great, nice and clean club. The Comics were all pros and very clever, laughed my ass off for an hour and a half. Didn't know they had a cool place like this near the Beach anymore. So tired of going to Brea, Irvine and the IE for Comedy. Well done !

The city Huntington Beach has been long overdue for a comedy club and this club fits the bill and more. If you're looking for great comedy, food, drinks and fun this is definitely the place to go. The club is located inside a family fun center so kids can play while their parents do too. I was very impressed with the aesthetics of the club. They have cool artwork on the walls of comic legends, a cool bar located at the front that's tended by very fun, energetic and personable bartenders. The food is delish and  you'll get a chuckle out of the creative names they created for the menu.

Saving the best for last, THE SHOW! The hosts of the show are hilarious and bring a tremendous amount of energy to the room. The comics I've seen perform are fall out of your seat funny, keep the audience rolling with laughter and make it so you never want the show to end. It's impossible to leave Surf City without a smile on your face. I will without a doubt be a regular along with a huge group of friends.

    Thanks Surf City!
