A very extensive selection of sushi and other Asian cuisine, but nothing particularly out of the ordinary. The carpet was stained and really needed to be cleaned, but the rest of the restaurant was nice and elegant.

Pretty good. Went for lunch with my father-in-law who is discovering just how tasty Japanese food can be.  I had three rolls and he had the Shrimp tempura bento box.  He was happy with everything he ordered, but it was a crazy lot of food.  He took more than half of it home with him.  The menu was a little misleading, it said he could have white or fried rice, but they charged him a $1 for the fried rice.

My rolls were all good, but came out at different times which was a little annoying.  The rainbow roll was the best. The fish tasted fantastic. I also had the Ivy roll which was only OK. The "assorted vegetables" was just iceberg lettuce and the sweet sauce was just a little too sweet.  The crunch of it all was quite nice and the tenderloin was tender, but it just didn't quite come together.  I can't recall what the other roll was, but it had eel and was delicious.

I'd go back again, but I still like Asakusa's better.  For one thing, the atmosphere is nicer at Asakusa's.

Terrible!! 4 of us went to Eat sushi here expecting sushi better than what was delivered at to our table. Every roll was so loosely made that they fell apart in our soy/wasabi sauce. We ordered 6 different rolls. We also ordered the cobi beef appetizer and it was not tender and not worth the price. Also the soup that they serve with the meal is undesirable and taste as if it came right out of their sewage. YUCK!!
I did however enjoy the outside seating, but upon asking our waitress to turn down the music so our group could Converse, it still was to loud.
The atmosphere is very different compared to other asian cuisine establishments. The jazz music playing outside made all of us feel as if we were at a bar minus the smoke and dark ambiance.
I would never go back there again, as well as the rest of my group. It looks like asakusa beats out all other sushi oriented establishments as far as price, taste, atmosphere, and freshness.
Our trip was very disappointing, we all walked away very unsatisfied.  I would not recommend trying it.

I just had lunch at this new "Asian Fusion" restaurant, "Sushiya-US".  It has mostly Japanese style food with a few Korean dishes mixed in.

It's located almost next door to the "Anytime Fitness" Gym on Dupont Road, adjacent to Dupont Hospital.

I had the "Chicken Yaki Udon" noodle dish, which had pan fried noodles (a bit thicker than fettucini noodles), grilled chicken and the chef''s "special sauce".  It was very good!  My wife and son had "Bento Box" lunches (Japanese style black & red compartmented lacquer boxes).  She had the "Beef Teriyaki" and he had the "Salmon Teriyaki".  They were also very good.  They came with various side dishes, like fried veggie sushi rolls, avocado/cucumber rolls, tossed salad with ginger dressing, fried ground taro root, and steamed rice.

The items on their menu are a bit pricy for Fort Wayne, around $10 - $15, but very well prepared, presented, and delicious.
