Food was barely acceptable even for diner food. Scrambled eggs were not fresh and overcooked. Bacon not cooked enough and cold. You get the disappointing diner picture.  Too bad too, the place had a nice vibe and is one of the few options in town for breakfast.  I must say the coffee was quite good.

Breakfast was fine and service quite good. This was in May so don't know how it is in the up seasons.

We stopped in this restaurant at 1:40 to ask if it was too late to try to eat there.. (the sign said they closed at 2.) We were ignored for several minutes, and when I finally asked if we were too late, I was told , "well we close at 2." I said so does that mean yes, and she just shrugged at me and walked away.

I would not have had any issue if she had just answered yes, but she was very passive-aggressive and rude! I have worked in restaurants that accept customers until close, so I felt like it was legitimate to ask. In any case there was no reason to be so rude!! I can't base my review on the food, but I feel like the service may leave a lot to be desired!

My cousins took me to the Swiss Kitchen while I was vacationing in Upstate New York, and I was pleasantly surprised. I didn't feel too hot after a night of drinking the night before, so I didn't order the hot turkey sandwich that was recommended, instead settling on the club sandwich. It was decent, but my cousins' hot turkey sandwich looked like a big ol' plate of heaven. The waitress was really sweet and the owner's son is a hottie. Just FYI.

Owned by the very Swissily-named Julie & Mike Reandeau, this "community restaurant" is more interesting to comment on than eat in.  On a hot summer day, I walked in a few years ago and asked if they could make an "ice coffee" for me.  I was stared at, and then told that they did not know what that was, and was promptly ignored thereafter until I left.
