Tapp City

Another of Berwyns dive bars. The place has a pool table ad poker machines. When you add this to beer what else does a bar need.

Where else can you go on a Sunday and spend less than $10 on beer and food?  At $1.75 a pop for a pint of Lite and a free Sloppy Joe buffet, you can eat and drink well at Tapp City on a tight budget.

I've stopped in here a few times over the past months.  It's a simple, friendly, no frills neighborhood tavern.  There's a dart board and the obligatory Golden Tee machine in the corner.  There is no food menu at Tapp City, just the Sunday football munchies that they set out for hungry fans.  If you go on a weekday, you can get a slice to go from Pizza Platter next door and enjoy a beer with your slice at the Tapp.

The Sloppy Joe's were great and with a little added giardiniera, it gives the little sandwiches a kick that any draft deserves to follow!  =)
