Good solid taqueria food! We actually dined in, which I rarely do at taquerias anymore. Not since the drunken college nights of tacos and burritos at 3am. But anyway, the "server" seemed a bit uncomfortable actually taking a table...I think she's just used to being the counter girl. Yet, she was sweet and accommodating. The food was solid. I had a torta (my fav) and my companion had tostadas. Both were delicious.
Review Source:This place use to be awesome and the most authentic around when the 2 lovely older woman owned it. Â Since the 40 some yr old male took over the quality is horrible! The staff was annoying and kept insisting they knew us when they clearly did not. They kept asking personal questions while we were eating and we finally just got up and left. It is a shame such a hidden gem has been lost. I wish they wouldnt have sold the business because now the name is ruined. We go to Super Taco now which is family run as well.
Review Source:The food was about average but not near as good as it was before changing owners. Â The chicken burrito was more refried beans than meat, and the beans tasted like they came from a can. Â The portions were large, but the cost was also somewhat pricey. Â
Overall, I was disappointed as my favorite burrito anywhere no longer exists.
Very delicious authentic Mexican food, courteous staff and warm decor. I ordered the special of the day, a "Fiesta Platter" and it had many different dishes including but not limited to Queso Fundido, Quesadillas, Nachos and taquitos. My companion ordered a burrito, it was spicy and I didn't try that but it smelled hot. Overall, very good for a small joint in a strip mall near my new home.
Review Source:Lovely tiny taco place with excellent sopes, quesadillas, etc. Homemade fresh for you while you wait. Takeout or eat-in. You get chips and salsa and two squeeze bottles of green and red sauce if you eat-in.
Friendly and fast staff. My favorite nearby place for sopes. Very close to Hometown.
