This is one of my very favorite restaurants. The shrimp in garlic butter is divine, and I always get the goat cheese. I had the rehearsal dinner for my wedding here, and I got a lot of compliments about the beautiful decor and the delicious food. I spent a month in Spain a few years ago, so I'm very familiar with tapas. This place is the most authentic Spanish restaurant I've been to in the states.
The servers are always accommodating and friendly, even when I have my young children with me. My older son asks for this place by name: "Mommy, can we go to Messabica?" (That's how he says it.) His favorite is the sirloin beef tips. My husband loves the potato salad, and orders it every time, but I think it has way too much garlic.
Just celebrated my grandma's birthday here yesterday (Feb. 24th) and it was just perfect. The food at brunch was phenomenal and the service was impeccable. They catered to every single age group even my picky little niece and nephew. I want to throw another party just so I can go back :)
