Sullivan's Steakhouse

Sullivan's is what it is: a straight-forward steakhouse that is way overpriced.

My wife and I enjoyed our ahi tuna and 12oz New York Strip, but they weren't ever going to live up to their price.

The Brussels Sprouts and Cheddar Au Gratin potatoes were just ok.

The wine list was actually pretty decent. My mid priced Cab was really good.

The decor seems dated and stodgy and the waitresses need to wear a bit more. This isn't Hooters.

Overall, it gets a meh. I'll go to Mastro's in the city the next time I want this type of fare.

My husband and I thought we would try Sullivan's for Valentine's Day and we definitely were not let down.  First, our service was courteous  and prompt. We were seated right on time and our server was very knowledgeable. The food was incredible, our steaks were cooked to perfection ( he had the New York Strip, I had the filet mignon both  with hoIlandaise)  I would recommend the shrimp and lobster bisque,  the calamari, and the lobster macaroni and cheese all of which were excellent.  They also have an amazing wine menu. We will definitely be back again!

Something Americans are masters at, fantastic beautiful tender meat. Had a 20oz Porterhouse (rare, like the waitress said, "red and cold on the inside"). Absolutely delicious, with burgundy pepper sauce and half a giant baked potato with sour cream. Service was perfect, waitresses looked great and the wait was normal. Our party of four had no reservations and had to wait for 15m in the bar with a beer. No problem.
