Found why the restaurant was closed when I attempted to grab lunch here 2/22/13 - grease fire in kitchen. Hopefully they are able to recover and are able to open again soon. Good luck, Katy's Dumpling House!

Went to Katy's Dumpling House last night for dinner. Wanting to try something new my sister suggested we try Katy's Dumpling house. As a fan of Spicy Szechuan food I was looking forward to trying out Katy's dumpling house. For dinner I ordered the chili chicken with dry peppers. It had three peppers so I knew I was going to get a good spicy dish. When my dinner was served I was happy that the pieces of chicken were cut small (and fried nice and crispy). This dish also had lots of flavor and was better then it is at other places I order it. While the portion size here was a bit smaller then TL's four seasons the taste was better and much more crispy. The service here was also very friendly. My mom orders her fried rice with just the beef and rice and they made sure to get her order correct and the way she liked it. Didn't try the pot stickers but my dad and sister both really liked them. They smelled wonderful also and looked homemade. Overall great Chinese food without the drive to china town. Looking forward to going back!!
