Papa John's Pizza

I love nearly all Papa John's except for this one.  They skimp on the cheese and the sauce and overcook the pizza.  It's like a trifecta of badness.  

I've tried them 5 different times throughout the year, the last being the Bears game and I was embarrassed to give this to the guys.  

The odd thing is I go to a different Papa John's when I'm at my brothers and it's completely opposite - cheesy goodness and all.  But for whatever reason, this Papa John's is terrible...consistently.

I ordered the advertised $11 specialty pizza. WE LOVE Papa John's. we also added an additional $1 topping and a small advertised side order of $3.99 bread sticks...

Upon arrival. Order cost over $23... EXPLAIN to me how? The delivery man didn't know so he called the store. No luck. I sent pizza and sticks back.

I called store. The man was clueless! SO i asked for a manager. He came on, spoke to me and hung up. I called back. He explained to me he was sorry  I was unhappy, and left it at that. I immediately called DOMINOS!! I got a deal for $13 for the same FOOD,,,, slower delivery time and NO bs.

IF a customer calls unhappy, it not about getting "free stuff" its about genuinely being unhappy. I called to voice a problem and the guy did not care less. Have fun eating my pizza (which being in the service industry, I know the staff had a free meal on me....)

will I go back, NO. Toooo bad i used to LOVE papa johns...... but not the service nor the prices compared to very close competitors.

Worst service ever.  Ordered pizza for a birthday party, so i called the day before.  I was asked to call back in an hour, called back in an hour, was told the computers were down to call in an hour.  I called a third time (in an hour) and was told that if I didn't have the venue's number I needed to call again in another hour, they were too busy to wait while I looked up the number online.  I called the fourth time (in an hour) and place my order.   I was assured it would be on time.

The order the next day was almost 30 minutes late which delayed the birthday party and it was not correct.
