The people that run this place are definitely on a power trip.  I realize the ABC has rules but not letting a 51 year old man in because his license expired the day before.  Seriously if by chance the place was raided by the ABC or police do you think it would be because you have a 51 year old man with an expired picture ID.  I talked to a relative who is in the bar industry and she said all you have to do is be 100% sure that the person you are letting in is over 21.  There is no law you have to card EVERY individual.  Since the guy at the door was maybe 3 years older than my son I would say it's safe to say that yes my husband was over 21.  If them are their rules I guess I have to abide by them but the way this was treated by both the bouncer and the manager was just downright rude.  Like they were actually getting off on denying entrance to my husband.

At another bar I ran into a man who was in his late 60s who was also denied entrance to this place.  Just ridiculous.

Terrible service, bartender who claims she is the owner can barely make a drink. Extremely rude to their guest & customers who are spending hard earned money at their establishment.  My wife & I will never go back to this place. Owner should be ashamed of herself for her actions and behavior towards my wife.  I am disgusted at this establishment and expect others will have similar experiences.

We stopped by this place on a late night bar crawl. It was all outdoors and it was very loud. There was a live band blasting Johnny Cash, many people were smoking cigarettes, and it was packed with bikers.

Great place to hang & have a beer with friends, family, or just hang. Usually some good tunes being belted out by a band. Dust off yourself after a long ride here, has to be a local fav.

I got to this bar after checking out of few others in old town, and this was definitely my favorite! The atmosphere is great, I loved the live music, and there is such an interesting mix of people.  If you're going out in old town, definitely go here!

We spent last night in the wine and beer garden, listening to live music by my friend's band. We were there for the Hot Summer Nights in Temecula.

This is a nice outdoor area where you can enjoy a drink and some entertainment. We were there when a birthday party was going on and the people were very friendly, offering us some of their cake.

I didn't have a chance to look at their list of beers and wines, but I plan on going back soon. There is a small stage and an equally small dance area, and plenty of seating. All in all a very relaxed atmosphere.

Located on the north end of Front Street, this spot is definitely worth a try.

Their recently-expanded bar now has over 20 beers on tap! Great variety to choose from; my favorite is the Black Market Hefeweizen, which is actually from a local Temecula brewery.

Gets pretty busy when they have live bands or biker nights. During the daytime it's pretty chill, but crowded evenings or weekends make for some GREAT people-watching.

The atmosphere is great, though; just divey enough to feel local but not dumpy. The whole bar is open-air with a large patio area and bandstand.
Pete and Mike are great friendly bartenders that will keep your glasses full, and others are helpful enough.

The ONLY thing that keeps it from getting a fifth star is the restroom facilities. There are some old public restrooms across the parking lot from the bar, but their on-site restroom has only ONE toilet. That's fine during the daytime or a light weeknight, but on a weekend or crowded night with a live band, forget it! I literally did a potty dance in line a couple weeks ago and almost wet my pants with so many people in line. I shouldn't have waited so long, but only ONE toilet for a big bar full of drunks???

We came here to watch our friend's band play.

Ordered a couple beers. I ended up with a pint of Apple Orchard Cider, which was delish!

It's an outdoor, open air bar and there's a little stage where you can watch local bands play on the weekend. There are lots of tables/chairs in front of the stage; however, when it gets hot, you may want to find a spot under a tree or stay by the bar.

Very laid back and casual. Nice spot to grab a beer and listen to local talent.

You only get beer or wine.  But if you're into a casual, laid back, good time then this is a good place.  It's even better if you like to people watch.  You won't find a crowd like this except for Fremont St in Vegas on 4th of July weekend.  We refer to it as the Cougar Bar.  Not for uptight people who lack a sense of humor.

Wine and Beer is definitely the place you drop into when you don't care what you look like and just want a cold beer!

We frequent W&B usually when we decide to have a lazy Sat. walking through the farmers market and ending at W&B for a Sangria or a cold beer.  They do NOT have a full bar, it is as it states however they have great beers!

I love the weekends here, live music and sunshine.  The only downfall is they do close a bit early in the evenings and that is usually because majority of the clientele is riding in and out or its a quick stop on your way to something else.  I would recommend W & B if you are looking for live music in the sun!

Was at the Rod Run car show and stopped by this place for the awesome music, some dancing going on. Definitely a biker bar, the good kind. Lots of beer choices, not super cold thought. Great place on warm nights, friendly bartenders, laughter all around.
I recommend if you just want to chill

Went here on a Saturday afternoon to enjoy a rare day out without the kids!  We were looking for a place to hang out outside and enjoy Old Town and the sunny weather.....this fit what we were looking for perfectly.  We sat right on the stools overlooking Front Street so it was fun to people watch and enjoy the weather.  We got a pitcher of beer; it was ice cold and the glasses were super clean (pet peeve of mine! :-/).  It was a great way to spend the afternoon in Old Town.  As were were leaving they were setting up for a band.  Would love to come back to relax outside again!

Biker bar with an older crowd (late 30s+). It was pretty packed and had a live band playing a wide genre of music, which was probably the only thing I liked there. The people there seemed like they were having a good time. It wasn't my kinda crowd, so I probably won't go there again.

This is a small outdoor bar with lots of heated lamps located on Front Street in Old Town Temecula.  Parking can be a headache.

I had the pleasure of going to TWBG last night for the first time. I apologize I don't know the exact name of the band that was playing. No reflection on how awesome they were! Hee hee:~).
I wonder sometimes when I read reviews if it is the establishment, group they are with (or sometimes not with), other attendees or a combo of all of the above!
In my case, each one rocked! If I remember accurately the band's name was Rum Soaked Raisin (or something similar). They were GREAT. There was a good mixture of people & I was there with a bunch of my new friends. I had a BLAST & would strongly recommend you go with a group of friends and make a night of it.

I grew up in Temecula so coming back to party isn't exactly thrilling. But going to Old Town for a beer on a patio bar on Sunday this would be the place. Pretty authentic biker bar, even if it has only been open a couple of years. Live music, really crowded, so don't expect any prompt service, you'll be lucky to get a beer.

I gotta give it 5 stars because YOU CAN SMOKE happily and DRINK!! YAY!! These things go hand and hand - its a bummer when they don't because of a law or uptight owner! My man and I enjoy cigars with our beer and in this garden its very welcomed!! This place is great on a sunny weekend afternoon! There is a BBQ place next door also. Another reason to love it. Its always entertaining as the day goes on and the crowd gets more sauced. Maybe a lil singing, some girls showin off their boobs, the bro-mances.......... its just a fun place! Very laid back. Makes ya kinda want a beer?!?!!

Temecula is a town for families.  Active families really, there are tons of cookie-cutter neighborhoods, family-friendly restaurants, parks, and trails.

So if you're single and lame, you'll probably want to stay local on the weekends.  If you're single and cool, you'll never party in Old Town.

But grabbing a drink during Happy Hour at the Wine & Beer Garden should never be ruled out.  My first visit here occurred last week.  I met up with a friend and we chatted it up while enjoying the occasional cigarette.  Since this is an outdoor bar you can smoke where you please.

It was definitely a fun time and I would definitely recommend it to all of the local singles.  It's a much better option than Aloha J's or Texas Loosey's (gross!).  It's a better option because you can actually have a decent conversation here and not have to worry about someone bumping into you or worse.

The beer selection isn't as eclectic as it should be; especially when you consider the fact that they only offer two kinds of alcoholic beverages.  Let's get some more imports in that fridge!

    Powerful pain relief...

Stopped by one morning to kill a hangover. The bartender was attentive, but then again, we were the only people in there. I wasn't overly impressed by their selection of beer, but it's a nice outdoor bar if you're into that kind of thing.

I stopped in for a beer Sunday evening and had a good time.  They had a coverband rocking, the place was full with a large contingent of friendly bikers.  The outdoor atmosphere and relaxed vibe was just what I needed to wind down a long weekend.

Um, did we take a wrong turn and end up at Papa's N Beer?!?

So contrary to popular rumors, exclusive coverage on E! Entertainment and the millions of paparazzi lining the streets of Temecula, the nightlife 'round these parts leaves a little something to be desired. What was the quote from Swingers? "This place is dead anyway" Yeah, that's about it.

And so imagine our surprise after walking down the wood planked sidewalks of Old Town Front St, dodging hypothetical tumbleweeds and whistling songs of the Old West, to find a lively little patio bar with... people! Sweet!

We sauntered on up to the bar and ordered a pitcher and then saddled on up at a table and got to it. And by getting to, I mean drink. :) The crowd was a definite lively bunch and by lively I mean loud and drunk. There were definitely a few "oohhhhwwwwwwsss," Whhhoooo hoooooos" "Baaaaaaaaah" and of course my always favorite, drunk chick, high pitched chalk board scratching level of annoying: "Oh My God, shut up!!!"

Like I said folks, there really ain't a whole lot happenin' after the wineries shut down on the weekends and during the week it's even worse, so take what ya can and if you don't wanna head over to Pechanga down the way and wanna stay closer to the hotel or home, this is a fine bet.

$5 corona light bottles, a smoky patio with outdoor seating only and port-a-potties as a bathroom option when the Farmers' Market is imminent, the tough 801 biker crew dancing with their babes to "These Boots Are Made for Walking" performed by a local cover band and it says "welcome to cougar country" on their website's homepage. Need I say more?

Huge fan of the Beer and Wine Garden!  When I took some friends from out of town they called it a cougar club, and yes to a point it is.  However, I've never gotton the vibe that I'm not wanted there.  It is definitely an awesome place to go in the summer, you can get food from next door and bring it into the Beer and Wine Garden, get a beer and enjoy the night air! They usually have great band entertainment, and the people watching is usually quite entertaining as well.

Quick & Dirty:  What wine?  I just had beer.  Outdoor seating, Flat Screens, friendly bartenders.  Cool.

    Long & Thirsty:

We stopped in Old Town Temecula on the way home from Pechanga and walked around.  About halfway down the block, like a beacon from a lighthouse in a storm, there she was....  The Beer & Wine Garden!  Yay! Drink? Drank. Drunk.  Well maybe not drunk but I had a Stone Ale which kind of counts as two, right?  Right.  Then I had a Red Hook Blonde, it was alright but the Stone was better.

This place is mostly outdoor seating so if it's chilly bring a sweater but in the summer months it's probably very nice.  This is a good place to sit and have a pint while the people you are with go shop the crafty little shops.  The Bartender was a nice gal and chatted up a little but not too much.  It looks like they have an area for live music too.  As for the wine part of the Beer & Wine Garden, I don't know because I drank beer.  I'm sure they have wine here though.

Would I go back?  Yes, because I like Old Town Temecula AND I like Stone Ale.
Should You Go?  Yes.  Get out of the house and take a drive!  And stop here and have a drink.

I'm not a fan of wine, especially red whine, but when it's given to you in a pint size wine glass and filled to the edge, then hell, after awhile, I'm loving the wine.

My friend and I ended up here after watching a movie at Temeku cheap theater on a Saturday night.  After a lame hour at Iron Wok trying to figure out what the buzz was all about, we drove to Old Town hoping for the night to be saved and livened up and we went to the right spot.  My friend used to pick someone up at the Greyhound station next to the Garden and had heard the music and seen everyone having a good time in the past so he figured it would be a hit with me.

    ding ding ding ding ding!!

I'm a hard liquor woman and on the rare occasion I drink wine it's white - for some reason that night when I was given the option of white I selected red.  I figured, eh, I'll get started, see how I feel then maybe have beer after awhile (I have a sincere distaste for beer unless I'm fishing or bowling).  Oh my.  The wine glasses were huge!  I needed two hands to hold the thing and had to take a few gulps just to walk away from the bar with it.

My friend and I (31-year-old female with a 42 year-old gay Filipino that comes off quite straight yet a touch metro sexual) really didn't fit in but I doubt anyone cared. Nor did either of us after half a glass.  We were there to dance (ok, I was, he just wanted to not be at home), and dance is what I did.  The music was exactly what I wanted to hear, 80s, 70s and sprinkle of newer rock.

I was all over the concept of the outdoor bar because I love being outside at night.  Something about dancing, feeling the wine flush and breeze on my skin made it a perfect night.

I'd like to think the bar will still be around or there's one just like it wherever I live when I'm in the cougar years.

Here's the deal with the beer and wine garden.  First of all I can see how one could be deceived by this place since it is far from what its name applies.  It's a beer bar.  A mostly over 30, recently divorced, kids at the baby sitters, bikers passing through, drink after work, out for a good time bar.  That said I love it, even though I don't really fit into that crowd at all.
What this place isn't, is a wine bar or beer garden in the classic sense.  It is entirely outside, though at least half of the seating area is covered and the bar is set up like one of those boardwalk vendors with the flip up store fronts and open sides.  They have a pretty good selection of brews beyond the typical blue collar favorites and the service has always been top notch.  They usually have live entertainment on the weekends and if nothing else it is great to have a beer and watch the local cougars fight over the pool boy out on the dance floor...very entertaining!  This is probably the most REAL of all bars in the area.  If you just want a good beer with friends and aren't worried about showing off your new "SKIN" jacket, this just might be the place for you!

I came here on a Sunday afternoon and this bar was the only crowded place in all of Old Town ... people were drinking and it wasn't even 1 p.m. But the wine and beer gardens don't resemble a dive bar however, the patrons sure look like they would fit in fit at one.

The Wine and Beer Gardens is a watering hole that is completely outside, the exterior is a bit rustic, which is appropriate because the bar is in Old Town, Temecula. There are beautiful flowers the decorate the bar (the place is a garden after all).

When I was here there were a bunch of bikers drinking, but the venue here is very cute and charming, even though the costumers weren't.
