I have a problem with this company as a whole. They show on their web site and their facebook page that they support the troops. I do not see how this is when your Springfield Ohio store employs a manager/partner, David Wiley. Mr. Wiley was just found GUILTY of vehicular manslaughter and speeding yesterday (11/15/2012) that resulted in the death of an Iraq Vet! This manager was speeding (police figured 70mph in a 35mph) 2 blocks from this steakhouse. He proceeded to slam into a car killing a war vet on impact!

Ribeye and rib combo is killer. No matter where in the country you go even the salads taste the same and are always super fresh.  This is a chain that is actually doin it right

I know this is probably counterintuitive considering the name and theme of this restaurant, but Texas Roadhouse has no options for vegetarians.  Usually even at meat-centric places I can cobble together a number of sides that are meat free, but Texas roadhouse puts bacon grease on just about everything.  Plus, I find the atmosphere a little strange and the beers are pretty mainstream.  I think they handle large groups really well though--and not all restaurants have that ability.

In my opinion, this is the best steakhouse in Springfield.  The quality of the food is excellent and the help is always quick and friendly.

The atmosphere is a bit on the noisy side, so if you are looking for a quite restaurant, this is not the place for you.  On the other hand if you have kids or a loud group, you will fit right in.

The food is excellent, and I highly recommend the steak and ribs.  I have not sampled the entire menu, quite honestly because I liked the steak and ribs so much!  The salads are also excellent.

We love Roadhouse. I generally prefer undiscovered restaurants, but we love the consistency we get with them. We know we can bring the family or a group and have a delicious meal with great service. One tip - ALWAYS call ahead - I hate the wait :)

The Texas Roadhouse is basically another name for (Outback / Lonestar , etc).  The premise is have a restaurant that is mainly built of wood in that fake light-colored log cabin style, put "Texas" in the name along with "Steak" and you have a franchise.

Well the food is not all that bad, fairly generic with a southwestern spin, and nice size portions.

My problem was that our hostess name was "Duke" and she was fairly attractive.  As I left I commented to my brother-in-law that I was about to utter a sentence that I never thought I would say and it was " you know I was checking out the Duke's ass".  To which he laughed and said yea, me to.
