TGI Fridays

The bartenders at this Friday's are great.  They are fun and attentive, not to mention make great drinks.  I would always recommend the Jackberry Smash!  I usually try to eat pretty healthy, so the Dragonfire Chicken is a usual choice for me.  It is flavorful, has great sides and stays under 750 calories.  If you want something sinful, the whiskey cake is great for dessert.  I have never had a bad visit here and plan to keep heading back for great drinks and good conversation.

My husband and I went for dinner last week to this location and were incredibly disappointed. We were seated in the bar area (which was fine) but our server/bartender seemed to be overloaded because he only checked in on us once after our food arrived and never refilled our waters. It wasn't even busy. I ordered the Jack Daniels Flat Iron (which I love!) medium-well and it came out burnt. I had to cut around the burnt spots. The entire time at dinner, I just kept thinking that we should have went to Texas Roadhouse across the street for dinner. There may have been a wait but the food would've been worth it. I won't be making that mistake again.

I have to agree with the other review for the most part. For a chain place, this TGI Friday's is great!

By far and away this is the best Friday's I've ever visited. I've been to the Greenwood location many times and received both lackluster food and service. This location, as does most everything in Avon, just seems like it's that much better. Our waiter, Wes, was awesome. He never let our glasses run dry and was on it for our entire visit.

I've been here several times (although I'm just writing my Yelp review now!) and ordered a wide range of things, from burgers to soups and salads. My experience has always been that the food is delivered to the table exactly the way it was ordered. This is not to say that they haven't made mistakes in the past; however, for me, this Friday's has a perfect track record.

The other reviewer is also correct in describing Friday's accessibility. I don't think I've ever waited longer than 1/2 hour for a table at this location, and I've been around at peak times on the majority of my visits. Take that how you wish.

This is a newer location that's only been open three or four years, so it's also a bit more modern than the others in the Indy area. I like the atmosphere and the decor...and I really wish I could take that vintage Toshiba T1200 portable computer on the back wall home with me!

I have to give this location four stars. Both the food and service are great!
