Stopped in one day with my sister for some sushi. I'm glad we got it to go because it didn't stay down for long after eating. Not sure if the fish they used that day was just bad. But after getting food poisoning the first time here I'll never go back.

This place is delicious and an amazing value! We were staying at the Hyatt Place so after a full day of traveling we were excited to go right across the street for dinner. They offer a 5 course meal plus a drink for 2 people for only $28. On top of that, the food was delicious! This place made my night!

We stopped into this place during what should have been prime dining hours on a Friday night. The restaurant was mostly dead; only two tables were filled.

I ordered the Pad Thai and my hubby got the drunken noodles. We ordered crab sushi and miso soup as an appetizer. The crab was not crab at all; it was "krab," which was not disclosed on the menu. Ugh. The miso was so-so; I've had better from a store-bought package. My husband's dish was pretty tasty - just the right amount of spice. Mine, however, was lacking. The sauce was overly sweet and lacking acidity. It tasted like someone poured a can of Spaghetti-O's sauce over the noodles. It was served with a lemon wedge, which helped breathe some life into it, but it ultimately wasn't enough to make it appetizing.

Our waiter wasn't very attentive, which was a bummer. Good service can usually bring me back to a place even if the food isn't fantastic the first time around. Sadly, that isn't the case with Thai Chili.

So-so service.  Decent prices.  Lack of ambiance.  Average food.  Challenging parking.  I doubt we'll ever return.

The best Peanut Sauce I have ever had. The spring rolls were so wonderfully fresh tasting and the Pad Thai was perfect. Wish I lived there, but was a great place to get fresh food that wasn't hard on the system or the wallet. HIGHLY recommend!

Still 3 Stars In My Books for Thai Chili & Sushi.

Had a very LATE Dinner with Hubs on Thursday September 27th 2012.  Time : 21:15hrs.  This time around, I opt for the Salt and Pepper Calamari ($6.25) and the Tamago Egg Nigiri ($4.25) and Snow Crab Nigiri ($6.95).  Hubs opt for Mongolian Beef ($9.25).  We SPECIFICALLY Request for the Mongolian Beef to be EXTRA EXTRA Spicy.  1 Single Coke as Beverage ($1.89).

The Salt and Pepper Calamari came out hot from the Fryer but the way they fried the Calamari perhaps might be "briefly" in the Fryer, hence the color of Calamari looks pale.  The Nigiri is tiny.  The Mongolian Beef was just A-OKAY, nothing stellar nothing fancy to talk about.  They put whole chilli peppers and "sprinkled" crushed red peppers in the Mongolian Beef.  Is it that difficult to make a SPICY sauce from scratch???  All in all, another Dinner outing that is just A-OKAY.

One qualm I have for Thai Chili & Sushi is that, since this recent aka latest visit, until now they have NOT updated their ONLINE MENU.  So the pricing reflect on the "Seat Down" Menu aka Dining-In Menu and Online differs slightly. *****Take Note*****

Service this time around was prompt and efficient.  Our server DID NOT rushed us at all.  With tax, this Late Dinner cost $30.91.

Went here because it was relatively close the airport and we were waiting to pick someone up. They were super accommodating and let us order from the lunch menu even though we just missed it. We got the penang curry and some of the sushi rolls/sashimi.

The fish on the sushi was stale and the rice was dry. Don't order the sushi because it is not fresh and not even worth the happy hour price. I also didn't like the curry because all i tasted was the coconut milk and it seemed like they just put some powder curry mix with coconut milk. Overall, great service, large portions, but the food doesn't seem fresh and almost seems like it comes from the box.

Sushi was suspect at best...I ordered the salmon and it was a little off in taste.  The rice used wasn't cooked thoroughly either. I see all of the other great reviews and wonder if I came here on a bad night or if the locals visiting the place haven't had sushi elsewhere.

Both the Pad Thai and the green curry tasted different than I was used to, but they were tasty and the price was great!

I love this place! We stop by fairly often, or have them deliver to the house. The prices are reasonable (except for wine, watch out there) and the food is good. They are also very quick - literally running around the restaurant. Highly recommended.

Very convenient to my hotel by the airport. Take out was quick and easy. The portions are Huge! I had a "beef spring roll" that was very different but tasty. The order came with 2 large rolls. My friend had the hot and sour soup and said it was good. I had the spicy garlic chicken which was full of flavor, not salty and very generous.
If I am by the Denver Airport I will definitely go back.

Love The Pad Thai At Thai Chili & Sushi
Was staying at a nearby hotel and saw this place was ranked high on TA so I gave it a try. Walked in and the place was packed, about 20 or so tables. Had the Chicken Pad Thai, Philadelphia Roll and Volcano Roll. The rolls (sushi) were good but the Chicken Pad Thai was amazing. It seemed to be an American version of Pad Thai, not so over the top with bean sprouts, peanuts, scallions and such. The chicken was as tender as could be, Noodles were perfect and the sauce was great, more sweet not hot. If you've never had Pad Thai or was leery of it this would be a good start. Will definitely go back here again when in town.

Great value at lunch time. I enjoyed Sriracha Chicken.

Also saw a sign for all day 2-for-1 hapy hour beers. Seems like a decent deal.

Beef satay! I asked the waiter if they had it (since the menu was such a mishmash of Asian cuisines) and he didn't seem to understand me but eventually pointed to the "beef on a stick" menu item, but it was indeed satay. I have a hard time finding it in restaurants (which often have chicken- maybe beef and lamb are more Singaporean or Indonesian than Thai?) so I'm glad when I do and this one even had a nice carbonized edge to it, something that's even harder to find.

Otherwise, the pad thai was a bit too sweet and the peanut curry was on the edge of the same danger. Not inedible and since were were hungry, we finished them without too much trouble.

Didn't try the sushi so no opinion there.

I'm normally very wary of such cultural multi-tasking of restaurants, but having just flow into DIA and driving into Denver, this looked like our best option and it was better than expected. If I lived here, I would probably come by regularly for the satay, but I'd have to find some other dishes. Not much for ambience, but ok for working lunch.

Decent food, but the service was very slow.  It took a very long time to get the check even though our server kept coming by our table...he wouldn't look at us, so very frustrating!

I was staying at a nearby hotel and decided to take a little walk for exercise.  Across the street, next door to the UNO Chicago was a mini mall with this restaurant in it.

I walked in and the place looked very nice.  I grabbed a TakeOut/Delivery menu and walked back the room.

I order Mongolian chicken (not very spicy or tasty), chicken wing appetizer (awesome) and a California Roll.  Way too much food for one person but I felt like experimenting.

I loved the CalRoll.  Very delicious along with the wings.  the $10 order of Mongolian Chicken was a bargain due to the amount of food but it just didn't have a lot of flavor.  A little disappointing.

Will probably try again next time I'm in town only with a different entree.

We had a party of 6 for lunch. All the food was fantastic! We each thought the dish we ordered was so good that we passed them around the table so all could sample. The red curry chicken and Panang curry chicken had a wonderful creamy coconut milk base.  The sesame tofu dish my sister ordered had small tofu cubes that were crunchy on the outside and soft and creamy on the inside. I couldn't ask for better food!

It was OK sushi but I can find better. The setup is very plain and there are boxes stacked up in the dining area and hallway.

First of all you have to always wonder what you'll get when the advertise 2 types of cuisine..this or that? Actually it's a great marriage in this case. It felt like a story line from the series Chopped! But hey I love that show and this place too!

Sushi, fresh and surprising thick slices of all my favorites. For you sushi heads out there you know about slices, you know the paper thin ones you get at happy hour??
Paper thin is not the norm here!

The Thai side...filling, genorously spiced if you ask for Thai hot which I did and it passed the test.

So here's the challenge for you, it's the standard menu we've all seen it before so the next time I'm asking for what the chef's are eating and then we'll have a review!

    Until next time....

Everywhere I go, I try to find a Thai restaurant. I was a little leery of this place since it seems like they try to do a lot (sushi too?). However, it was across the street from my hotel, so I decided to take a chance.

This is the best green curry I have ever had. The taste was perfect. I have no idea how any of their other food tastes, but the curry was awesome. The portion was huge, which wasn't necessarily a good thing for me (I couldn't stop eating it).

Anyway, if you like green curry, don't miss this place.

What I ate: Shrimp spring rolls, Tuna & Salmon Nigiri & the dancing Eel roll.

I travel extensively and eat in all sorts of places.  Thai Chili & Sushi was a pleasant surprise and very convenient to a place I stay often.  I rated this based on what it was...a strip mall restaurant. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is I would like to sample a few more dishes.

Appearance: the interior was modern and clean.

Service:  It was as I would have expected.  I was there on a Sunday night and the food came lightening quick.  My server was not overly attentive, nor was I neglected.

Food: I have had better sushi (and paid a lot more for it), but I have also had much, much worse.  I would not hesitate to order the sushi again.  The fish tasted fresh enough and the rice was a good consistency (not mushy).  The cut was perfect in my mind.  It was not too thin and not too thick.  More importantly the temperature was correct.  You never want warm sushi, nor do I like it cold.  It should be cool, which this was.  I also had the Dancing Dragon Roll.  I prefer my fish raw, even in rolls, so I only ordered this deep fried roll on the server's recommendation and the fact it was topped with spicy tuna. It was a very good roll that was a combination that I had never had before. Avocado, Eel, cream cheese with a tempura crust, topped with spicy tuna.  I think there was a tad too much cream cheese, but that would not stop me from ordering it again.  The spring rolls were good, not great, I would have preferred a little more zing to the sauce.

All in all, I would recommend Thai Chili & Sushi.  I'm looking forward to trying a few more of the Thai dishes.

What a delight this was! Thanks to my fellow yelp-ers I gave this place a shot. It is in a little strip mall sandwiched between a liquor store and a pizza joint. Does not look like much from the outside, but inside is warm And inviting. I had the Gen Tso's chicken and my companion had the sizzling beef. Thanks to the other reviews we also got an app. Of the steamed dumplings. They were so good I could have made a meal of just them. Portions are huge and service was attentive without hovering. Well done, and I will be back!

I've eaten here twice. The first time I ordered some kind of chicken dish that turned out to be delicious.

The second time around I went with the order three sushi rolls lunch deal.
I think Thai Chili taught me an important lesson about sushi. Don't order sushi from a place that specializes in some other kind of food.

I have to say that this was easily the least appetizing sushi I've tasted in my short sushi eating career. Not inedible but not delicious like the other places I've tried. I'll stick with the Thai but I'll pass on the sushi from here.

Had their green curry with chicken.  Very good!  Wished it was a bit spicier but it still had some zip!  I'll be back to try the red curry.

    EDIT:
I returned again last evening and tried the red curry with chicken.  I was once again greeted by the friendly staff and made a special request for the kitchen to make it extra spicy for me.  After a bowl of egg drop, the curry arrived and it didn't disappoint.  Very snappy and tasty.  Both the red and green curries were excellent and I will be returning in the future.

Took a business associate since it was close to the hotel and well rated on Yelp.  We had several types of sushi/sashimi and some green curry.  I'm a bit of a sushi snob, but this was fine.  Not stellar, but nothing really to complain about..  The green curry was fantastic.  Really good.  I'm walking back over tonight for dinner.  Nuff said.

I spend nights in Denver only when the airlines have screwed me. Evening in, out on the red eye. I stumbled upon this delicious restaurant purely by chance. It is the lone bright spot for me on my unexpected evenings in the Denver area.
Food is delicious, portions are huge, and the price is more than reasonable.
The Pad Thai was wonderful and I am trying Panang Curry with Shrimp tonight.
I never start my evening in Denver happy, but with this great spot, I seem to finish on a high(er) note.

Its convenient location near a string of airport hotels and generous portions make Thai Chili a keeper. Often times if you're staying near an airport, you end up at a TGIF,  which isn't always what you're looking for. I was happy to find some decent ethnic eats! We ended up eating lunch and dinner here.

Entrees come with a free drink, which is nice, and they have lunch pricing for all of their entrees. Over the course of two trips we had drunken noodles, pad see ew, red curry and the basil tofu. The drunken noodles were my least favorite, but still a-ok. They have brown rice available for only .50, and their vegetable additions aren't skimpy! No baby corn or water chestnut fillers were to be found. And, all of the portions are huge. At dinner time, we had enough to take some extra with us for a late night snack.

So when I go to a new place and am not familiar with the menu, I ask my server what their favorite is.  Yes, I know that's semi-annoying, but I figure, they should know the food because they work there.  (This method has occasionally backfired, but you get the idea).  So upon my server's suggestion, and this was her favorite dish, I got the volcano shrimp.  It was sooo good!  Yes, people note that while this is a Thai place, it's lacking in the spice department.  I think given the demographics of the area...spicy may not be that favorable to some people's palates.  And I mentioned this to my server, so when my dish came out, it came out with some red chili on the side to allow me to make it however spicy I wanted it.  Plus you can't go wrong with friend shrimp in a sweet yet slightly spicy sauce.

That being said, the service is good, there's a lot of parking, they do deliver, and I think they are more than willing to accommodate you, within reason of course.  I am willing to try out other things on the menu, but it's so hard when you find a dish that works so well.

I came here with a large group from work that was visiting Denver for a meeting. A few of them had been here before and were raving about how good Thai Chili was.  Some of us ordered several dishes and shared them.  We had a few curry dishes and the Thai Mango Chicken.  They were all good but nothing really stood out as particularly fantastic.  One of my colleagues ordered the sushi deluxe dinner which he thoroughly enjoyed.

The restaurant was clean and had plenty of parking.  The staff was friendly and efficient.  Overall, they offered decent food with good portions at reasonable prices.

I love this place! I live up the street and have it delivered about once a week!
My kids love it too! and when we go into sit down and eat, they are so nice to my kids, who are 5 and 1.  They don't say one bad word or give one bad look when my 1 yo makes a hella mess.  When we ask for the broom and dustpan to clean up after her, they insist on cleaning it up. My husband and I try to grab the broom before they notice now, so they don't have to clean up after our kids mess, it's kind of a race, lol. ANYWAY...
The delivery guys are so awesome and nice.  One even offered to take my garbage down that I had outside my door!
I just wish we had discovered this TC&S last time we were stationed here!

Good food by the airport in denver if you are bored.  I got an eel roll which was quickly prepared and brought to me.  After that i tried the yellow curry, with chicken.

The chicken was probably the most tender chicken I have had.  It was prepared perfectly in the sauce.  I asked for it to be extra spicy, and they delivered.

Also, the portions are huge, so come hungry.

So I've had lunch here a few times, and its actually pretty good!  It's a combination of Asian foods. From Thai, to Vietnamese and Japanese. I gotta say, there Pad Thai is AMAZING. I think the best I've ever had. Unlike Tommy Thai's Pad Thai (no offense) its not salty! And it has just the right amount of spices. Of course you can add more/less.

Crab cheese wontons are also really good.

They do delivery! Which is nice and fast. Dining in, the service is great! They check up on you often to make sure you have everything you need.

The place is kind of in a rural area, where they are building things. Hotels, other restaurants ect. So its not as easy to find and not as popular.

But I'd definitely will be back!

Seriously, heed my words.  Eat the steamed dumplings and the green curry.

The dumplings are the best I've had in quite a while  Good, flavorful and meaty filling and excellent sauce.  The green curry is great too.  Just enough spice, and a large portion.

Definitely worth going out of your way.

The name of the restaurant is very misleading - however they have recently changed their menu and added more in the way of Thai items.

We love that they deliver. They tell you an hour or something crazy like that but we've never been kept waiting longer than 30 minutes.

Much better Chinese/Asian than the other restaurants in the area!

Great sushi!! Great prices!!! Great specials!

We've been impressed with Thai Chili since our first visit. We are big fans of great sushi, which is hard to find outside of downtown Denver. We have found a number of mediocre sushi restaurants and weren't expecting much when we walked in to Thai Chili.

However, the prices are great for such fresh fish. The rolls are unique and well crafted. You can pretty much find anything you are looking for, even you aren't a raw fish fan. There is a large selection of smoked or tempura rolls as well as sushi and fresh fish. For a sweet tooth, the sweet potato roll is very satisfying.

As a bonus, their shashimi and sushi is only $1 for 2 pieces from 2-4 and so is their (small selection) of beer. We were very happy to learn that they also deliver. So, on those evenings when we just don't want to go out, we can have fresh sushi delivered right to our door.

To be fair, we have only had the "kitchen food" once: lettuce wraps and they were just ok. But we don't go to a sushi restaurant for sesame chicken.

Give this place a chance and have some fresh, unique sushi. Really fantastic place with very competitive prices.
