I'm a fan of Outback and I've never been disappointed after a visit to one of their countless locations. This particular Outback was no exception; my steak was perfectly prepared and very tasty. At many restaurants, the server asks you if you want steak sauce; at Outback, they don't mention it and it's never occurred to me to ask.
The service was reasonably prompt and courteous, but something about it seemed a little "off" ... the servers seemed a bit harried and slightly curt. It wasn't bad service by any means; just a bit below what I usually expect at Outback. I think it's because this particular location is near the Denver airport, in an area full of chain hotels, so the restaurant is probably always busy and there are few (if any) repeat customers.
One interesting thing about this Outback: it's decorated with attractive artwork instead of the usual boomerangs and didgeridoos. I don't know if this is part of a chain-wide remodeling, but I liked it.
Yeah, this place was just OK.
Nice service, they weren't mean or anything, but it was a bit confusing. They forgot our utensils, our bread, and didn't come back to refill our drinks nearly as often as I was used to.
The food was ok. I actually ordered it to be medium rare, but it came up to be more medium to well done on that. Maybe they messed up on my order, but I felt like I was eating over cooked steak.
The seasoning was good, not too overdone, but I was just sad when the meat was a bit overcooked.
