Wine and Roses Jazz Supper Club

The food was fabulous  I got the catfish and my friend got the barbecue chicken.  We were both happy about what we ordered.  My message to the owner would be to please keep the cook because he put his foot in that food.  The decor is really nice too so hat's off to whoever did the decorating.  The band who played last night was really good too.  We did not have to pay a cover charge.  It was a nice little outing and I am sure that I will be back.

I was very disappointed in this place but it's typical of new places that caters to the African American genre.  Let's charge a cover, fry up some fish, and have horrible service.  A cover should only be charged if your offering note worthy jazz artist not if someone wants to have a glass of wine & catfish.  

Ordered catfish & received gizzards?  When I advised that's not what I ordered the waitress turned around & walked away?  I'm wondering if she thinks I'm telepathic?  So I wait?  

Next don't let the title lead you to believe they have wine because it's not a wine bar.  I ordered a glass of moscato & watched them poor Sutter Homes & charge me $7.00.  

Waitress comes back with a tray of drinks & spills them all. Oh damn, there she goes leaving again.

Basically horrible service, not a good wine selection & you may never eat.  Very disappointing.  They need to fire everyone & start over & decide what they want to be.  

Ps I never received my food & won't be back.

A great addition to the neighborhood - good atmosphere and great place for meeting ole friends.
