I'm a fan of Outback and I've never been disappointed after a visit to one of their countless locations. This particular Outback was no exception; my steak was perfectly prepared and very tasty. At many restaurants, the server asks you if you want steak sauce; at Outback, they don't mention it and it's never occurred to me to ask.

The service was reasonably prompt and courteous, but something about it seemed a little "off" ... the servers seemed a bit harried and slightly curt. It wasn't bad service by any means; just a bit below what I usually expect at Outback. I think it's because this particular location is near the Denver airport, in an area full of chain hotels, so the restaurant is probably always busy and there are few (if any) repeat customers.

One interesting thing about this Outback: it's decorated with attractive artwork instead of the usual boomerangs and didgeridoos. I don't know if this is part of a chain-wide remodeling, but I liked it.

This chain is consistent and the food always sturdy and reliable. Today, our waiter was annoying as bad tooth, slow, clumsy and odd. But the Alice Springs chicken was very tasty.

Yeah, this place was just OK.

Nice service, they weren't mean or anything, but it was a bit confusing. They forgot our utensils, our bread, and didn't come back to refill our drinks nearly as often as I was used to.

The food was ok. I actually ordered it to be medium rare, but it came up to be more medium to well done on that. Maybe they messed up on my order, but I felt like I was eating over cooked steak.
The seasoning was good, not too overdone, but I was just sad when the meat was a bit overcooked.

I live near this location, and have eaten here several times due to convenience. Here is my overall review:
The restaurant is always clean and has cheerful greeters. I've never had to wait long for a seat.

The waiters have always been prompt, helpful and very nice.

The food...this is where it falls apart for me.
Appetizer suggestion: I do like the ahi. Comes with 2 sauces and tastes great! Since this is a "steak house" I always order a steak (different cuts). I've tried the wood and the spiced (original) and they are usually bland. The meat doesn't have much flavor. When I order the "veggies" as a side, there isn't much there. A couple broccoli florets and a few sliced carrots, both usually over steamed.

Outback used to be a decent steak house, in my opinion, but either the chain has changed or this particular restaurant needs some help in the kitchen.

I am so bitter with myself. I should have know better. This place is the reason this chain has gone down hill. At the core, Outback used to be about steak...and you knew going there the food would be consistent, with decent quaility.  They messed up the order twice, and when the Steak did arrive, it looked as though it was from a public school cafeteria.  The veggies on the side...5 pieces of carrots (1), broccoli (4) were sad, very sad.
The people were very friendly and helpful, but the food was terrible. Go anywhere else on this strip--UNOs, Applebee's, Ted's.

A-OK is a perfect rating for last night's visit to Outback Steakhouse. In fact, I was anticipating it being a 1-2 star review so I was pleasantly surprised!

The decor has changed a lot since the last time I've been to an Outback, a lot more pleasing. Service was pretty good too, with the exception that there was an error on one of our dining companion's potato, but that was taken care of quickly. My salad was fresh and crisp, and my rib-eye steak was prepared a perfect medium rare.

I don't have any plans to rush back to Outback, we only went because we had an out of town guest staying at the hotel across the street prior to leaving early this AM. However, I would recommend this location if you are staying at one of the nearby hotels or have guests that are.

The fifth star is ONLY because the prime rib was the best I ever had! It was the 16oz cut, done - "Outback" style. This was AWESOME !! The beer was cold and when you give me beer, meat, a friend and a bar - Its over with - I'm sold.
Any other steak would be a waste to get!! Get it Medium , so its pink still too!

I had just flown back from a stressful week-long trip and was looking forward to some good food and good service. Sadly, I was let down in both respects.

The food: I ordered the Norwegian Salmon with mixed veggies. It was supposed to be wood fire grilled but came out more charred. Also, I had to ask twice to get the (always wonderful) complimentary bread.

The service: On top of having to ask for bread twice, there were no menus at our table and we had to ask for them as well as ask what the specials were and what the soup of the day was. I expect all of those things to be provided without asking and at every other Outback, on every other visit, they have been. Our waiter never checked in on us to see if we needed more water (which we did) or to make sure our food was what we expected. Also, when trying to order a drink that they used to have, instead of going over to talk to the bartender to see if it could be done, the waiter just said they don't have it anymore.

Really disappointed, won't be going back to this location any time soon.

I have been a fan for years but this time I ate here, I got sick.  So the whole time while i was in denver, instead of having fun I was in my hotel home sick.  Not sure if someone did something to my food or if the food was old and not fresh. After eating half of my food I was running back to the hotel to get to the bathroom.

*Damn after reading the other reviews, it must be the cooks.

okay...I've been too practically every outback in Nevada and Colorado literally...and Well The ones in Las Vegas are WAY better, possibly because the competition from the buffets & etc...those who know Vegas know what I'm talking about.   Well The ones in Colorado, specifically Denver and outer areas  a.k.a Westminster, Broomfield, are TERRIBLE and ...YUCK sooo horid....So NOT worth it... Yes it's cheaper for steaks and seafood, but NAsty, Nasty, Nasty!!!

This Outback is more or less like every other Outback.  The food was decent and you go back about every 6 months or so after you've gotten over the fact that you and one other person dined and it cost you eighty bucks (not including tip).  My husband and I went here and he ordered the prime rib.  He is a big time steak man, so he is very, very picky about his steak, so if you are not, this cut might have been okay for you.  However, my hubby didn't like it at all.  He said it was awful.

I ordered the chicken and that's what they brought me.  A lone piece of chicken on a huge plate.  I felt like I was being punished.  The server forgot my vegetables and didn't realize the mistake until she saw my husband putting his veggies on my plate.  The drinks were delicious - I had a Strawberry Margarita with a sugar rim on the rocks.

About halfway through the meal, there were some other employees in black that came around to all the tables to ask how the food was.  I wasn't sure if they were servers or cooks, but I thought that was a nice touch.  We told them the food was fine, but if they had identified themselves, we might have offered a little more info.

Service was great.  Don't order the Outback style prime rib.  This is the second time I have ordered this dish and both times the cut was dry and tuff. Other than that, everything was good.

Yep. It's a chain Steakhouse. And you'd think that most of them would be no different than one another. But this Outback seems to be a bit different than most others that I've been to...for the better.

This Outback is tucked into the row of hotels on 40th Ave that service travellers out at the airport. There are some locals that go there, but this place is really here for the travelling crowd. Normally, that would be a bad thing. A restaurant that isn't working hard for repeat business usually doesn't set the bar too high, and most travellers (and unfortunate locals) end up with a sub-par experience.

Surprisingly and thankfully, this Outback is the exception. The staff here is extremely friendly and welcoming. The food, while being the same as you can get at any Outback, seems to be consistantly and noticably better than I've had at other locations. Always perfectly cooked...well seasoned and presented at this location by a staff that seems to care.
