Our favorite Thai food, hands down! My boyfriend always gets the green curry, which is delicious! I've had their drunken noodles, yellow curry, red curry, sweet and sour chicken, pad thai, fried bananas and mango sticky rice and we always get the crab rangoons to start. Everything I've had has been delicious and they'll make it as spicy as you want ;) The owner, Pong, is super sweet and very attentive. The girls are really nice too. Â It's a little place and sometimes they get really busy so service can sometimes be slow, but it's totally worth it! Kick back and have a couple Changs or Singhas :)
Review Source:This place was a hole in the wall....food was very good and cheap...
We were traveling and wanted something quick for to-go....
We had ordered pad-se-ew, panang curry and tom kha kai soup...
We loved the panang curry and the soup. The noodles were little burnt but liked the light garlic flavor in it. would recommend this hotel.
I love the Thai Kitchen and I love Thai food. I usually go for lunch. Their lunch special comes with a drink, soup, egg roll and entree for around $8. I order the Thai tea every time and it doesn't disappoint. I also request the Tom ka soup. Someone could use it as foot  bath and I still wouldn't hesitate to slurp every last drop from that bowl. The green curry is a favorite of mine and I always order it spicy. I also really enjoy the pad ke mau, again I always order it spicy.
The service is good but this tasty little restaurant also has very little space. I try not to go during peak hours anyway. I like placing to-go orders though. I enjoy their food a little too much and sometimes order enough food for 2 or 3 people, which I eat for lunch, dinner and if I'm lucky breakfast the next day.
Excellent customer service, good and cheap food! Take advantage of their lunch specials which come with soup, an egg roll, main dish, and a drink. I'm usually pretty picky when it come to Thai tea, but they made it perfect here (not too sweet not too creamy). Â I got the drunken noodles and my bf got the red chicken curry. I liked my bfs curry better though.
We also ordered the mango sticky rice, but since the mangos weren't sweet (they ran out of sweet mangos for the day) they didn't charge us for it. Also I wanted to take the rest of my tea to go and they ended up topping it off for me!
I typically judge a Thai restaurant by it's Pad Thai and the dish here was no better than anywhere else I've been. In fact, the chicken was a bit rubber and wasn't as flavorful as others. Soup was good as was the veggie eggroll. The value is certainly a benefit here: lunch specials for under $10 left me full and satisfied. Also, it's not the cleanest of venues. The restroom was practically as dingy as what you'd find in a gas station.
Review Source:Excellent food and very good and polite service too! Â We have dined here a few times in the past year and also during the lunch hour when they have very good specials. I really like the Drunken Noodles and their Tofu dishes are pretty good as well. The Pad Thai is good and I have ordered it with chicken and tofu and both have been tasty. Â For the healthy customers they do serve brown rice which can be hard to find in Thai restaurants. We had it as a side for the lunch special and they do a great job with it.
Review Source:I've been going to the Thai House in Redlands for years and decided to try this place to see if their food different but comparable. I ordered the Phad Ginger, Pineapple Fried Rice and Phad Woon Sen. The folks here were great but the food, not so much. I really was disappointed. Everything tasted greasy and heavy, the flavor was  bland, the Pineapple Fried Rice was dry. I should've stuck with the Thai House! :-/
Review Source:I ordered my standby chicken pad thai and my boyfriend ordered the drunken noodles as most of these reviews suggest and guess what!? The drunken noodles were amazing. Do as others say, order the drunken noodles. My pad thai tasted good, but did I mention the drunken noodles were divine?
Portions were a lot smaller than I'm used to in Seattle, like being able to take half home smaller. And service was a little slow.
Where do I begin??? Every single time I come here I am more and more impressed. The service is amazing and the food is always fresh and cooked to order. Â Our favorites are beef drunken noodle and spicy basil. Â Did I mention the to die for coconut ice creme and sticky rice and mango? Yum! Â Tip and Pong are great!
Review Source:I Love the food here i thought it taste great compared to others I've tried.
service was good and i like that its a small place some times going to a place where a lot of people go can get irritating especially when its busy, i like how if you need help you don't have to try to flag them down just to get service
anyways
Our first time it was just me and my husband we went for our 1 year anniversary, it was quite and they were really friendly they asked if we wanted water and we said no because we don't drink water really when we go out to eat,so we ordered our drinks and food i had a beef and broccoli kinda meal with rice it was good the vegetables were soft but still had a crunch and the meat was tender and Delicious
my husband ordered the pai tai with tofu because he is vegetarian he loved it as well after that they gave us the check and we paid it wasn't that bad its like going to Denny's i suppose in price range  Â
Our 2nd time we went it was fairly busy but wasn't bad,we went just cause we were craving Thai food, this time though we brought our daughter.
We were in a trying new foods from the menu,so we ordered the regular food we get and decided to try the yellow curry because people were saying it was good so we order and told the lady it was our first time trying it she said yes the yellow curry was the best first our regular order came out we ate that, then she brought the curry, we tried it and loved it, next time i want to try the others, anyways when we got our check we noticed the curry wasn't on the check, so we told them, the lady looked at us and said that it was fine that they didn't put it on there because it was our first time trying it and we only got a little bowl, not the whole meal. So we were surprised that they would do that, because at most places they would have charged us.
We would definitely would go back and recommend this place
This is a place where your money is NEVER wasted! Â I don't care how many times you visit , the food is ALWAYS outstanding, the staff is very friendly, and you certainly get your money's worth! Â I always order the Cashew chicken lunch or dinner special, and it is always right on point! Â My husband loves their Green Garden, my daughter loves their Chicken Chow Mein and wonton soup...I tell you, I've never been disappointed--and I do order different stuff once in a while, but I just love the cashew chicken! Â
Small seating area, but always clean and inviting.
Very mediocre Thai food.
Service was good, ambiance was OK, kind of a small hole in the wall.
Somebody started the water they serve tastes like dishwater, I snickered when I initially read this but unfortunately it's true!
I had Pad See Ew and it was edible, nothing to write home to mom about.
I won't be going back to this place, I have to wonder how this place has such a high rating?!? Smells fishy if you ask me.
Excellent customer service, great food, nice atmosphere and decent prices.
We're headed to San Diego from Las Vegas on the last leg of our road trip and we Yelped to find a good restaurant on our route. We run into Thai Kitchen and had a really nice meal. We ordered 3 dinner specials @$8.99 each which comes with soup, an egg roll and white or fried rice. We had the green curry, yellow curry and the pad see ew. The entree part of it was portioned well, but I thought the scoop of rice could have been larger. I asked for both curries to be mild but the green one was still really spicy. The yellow was bearable and I quite enjoyed it. We didn't even have any room for dessert!
The customer service was awesome and deserved 5 stars... Everyone was really friendly and super polite! We had 3 young kids with us and they were super-attentive to their needs as well and even encouraged the kids to take extra candy after our meal! That's so rare at Asian restaurants!
Would I go back to this place again? Absolutely! Why did I not give them 5 stars? The small scoop of rice and the fact that I rarely give anyone 5 stars... If only wish Yelp would change their scale to a 10-point scale!
Really really average Thai food. Bad egg rolls (frozen) and the water they give you with your meals tastes like dishwater. Literally undrinkable so you have to order drinks. Well we like water with our meals.
Thai food should always be cooled fresh. This please is more like a Chinese food type place.
Service was very sterile as well and the waiter did  it speak Thai. We do.
The first time I went, I really wanted to like this place, because the reviews are so good and the employees are so friendly. It was good food, but I've had better. The fried wontons are delicious, though. And they have lumpia, ahhh!
The second time I tried their lunch special. Again, I wanted to love it because the employees were just as nice, and the lunch special is an incredible deal. $7 gets you an entree, rice, soup, an eggroll, salad and a soda! Amazing deal. I ordered the broccoli beef, and they gave me... something... it wasn't what I ordered, but I was by myself and felt awkward/bad having them take it back. I know that's my fault, and I should have just sent it back, but it wasn't what I ordered, which wasn't my fault. I tried to eat it, and it just wasn't good.
I went there last night with my brother and it was kind of a miss. The satay was salty, the wontons were as good as ever and the rice tasted like typical, run of the mill Chinese fried rice.
I'll leave it at a solid 3 stars, because the employees are consistently nice, and the prices are good, especially for the specials.
SUPER GOOD! since I read the reviews on YELP, I have been going here every Saturday for the last four weeks.
I have tried the Drunken noodle, Pad thai and Phad See Ewe, so far everything has been delicious!!!!! I'm so happy I found a place that makes good food consistently! I thought I had tried good thai food before but this is by fat the best I have had to date. (ive tried 3 other places in the IE and 2 other places in the LA area)
As far as ambience, its a pretty small place, I wouldn't advise anyone to bring more than 4 people. Also, I have never stayed to eat here. I usually get carry out since I only eat here when I'm at work. They have never messed up on my order and its always ready when I pick up.
If you're in town and craving thai or something new, DEFINITELY give this place a try.
Just FYI my friend who doesn't like ethnic foods or trying new things LIKED the food at this place! I think that says a lot. Mmmmmm, I'm about to go get me some thai food right now!
I have found the food to always be fresh and consistently yummy. They have a great lunch and dinner special menu that really gives you a lot for the money.
The staff has always been friendly and courteous wether we are dining in or taking out. The dining space is great for a quiet intimate dinner.
The food is always a fresh explosion of flavors in my mouth that I swear I can't get enough of. The wife often finds herself torn between the Drunken Noodle, Pad Thai or Kung Pao (with chicken or tofu and a spice level of 7). I am usually torn between those or any of the curries (I usually choose a spice level of 10 and love my drunken noodles with chicken and shrimp). We usually always get an order of chicken wontons since they are a so yummy, but will sometimes get some chicken satay.
The service has always been 100% and we have always got exactly what we ordered  wether dining or taking out (which is awesome considering how busy they get at times).
A true gem in Grand Terrace.
Ahhh Thai food... the food I grew up with. Nothing like eating my favorite foods after a day of beating myself up at the snow. We ate here on a Sunday night around dinner time on our way back to San Diego. We had a party of six and had a wait about 30 minutes for them to make room for us. The restaurant is somewhat small, with maybe 10 tables or so, and they only had one lady serving. She seemed flustered and overwhelmed with everything she had to do, so she took a while to give us attention.
We ordered first before we even got seated, and by the time our table was ready, some of the food was already on the table. I was starving so it worked out perfectly. Family-styled this meal and out of everything we ordered, the Drunken noodles, Tom Yum soup, and Larb were probably our favorites. The perfect amount of spice, saltiness, and sourness. I love how Thai food blends all those flavors in one dish. If I'm ever in the area again, there's a good chance I'll stop by.
This place is amazing. I came here with someone at around 3 in the afternoon and we got the restaurant to ourselves. The server/manager was really nice and constantly refilled our water and asked us about the quality of the food.
The food came out fast, too. We ordered pad thai and fried rice. Portions were good and the basil was fresh and very fragrant. It was an enjoyable experience. The manager even gave us a 15% student discount even though the prices were already low and we didn't ask for a discount. We will definitely come back. My friend felt bad and she gave extra tip. I couldn't because I was out of cash.
My new addiction! Â Came here on the reccomendation of a friend, tried the drunken noodles, and was hooked. Â I keep trying new things and loving them every time! Â My faves are drunken noodles, sukiyaki, and red and yellow curries. Â Sweet and sour chicken and thai green curry fried rice were also perfect! Â
Great take out service, but also cozy for a casual dine-in experience. Â Super nice people provide great customer service. Â Good prices, too!
I've been meaning to make this review for awhile now.
I grew up near this restaurant, so I may be biased, however I eat out quite a bit and understand quality and awesome customer service. They are just that. Delicious food. One of the best restaurants I've been to as far as customer service is concerned. They're a family owned restaurant, and they treat their customers - especially regulars - very well. As I've seen other reviewers post, it's an intimate setting. This place is a 'hole in the wall', but is actually quite nice inside.
All in all, this is my favorite Thai Restaurant bar none - and I love Thai food. Just an excellent dining experience, excellent food (the drunk noodles, combination fried rice, beef salad, orange chicken, tom yum koong soup, the list goes on), and excellent service. Top three restaurants for me.
Please visit and support this local restaurant, I have a hard time believing you won't be pleased with your experience.
I don't know why I haven't written a review about Thai Kitchen. I've been coming here for the past couple of years and they never disappoint. I'm in the middle of a good selection of Thai restaurants and I have to say that this is one of my top places to eat.
It's a nice cozy little restaurant, family owned and all. They are in between a donut shop and a pizza shop in the Stater's Bros. plaza. Once again, Grand Terrace has a hidden gem.
My sister and I usually go here together when we want Thai food and our usual order are: Drunken Noodles, Pad Thai, egg rolls and spicy fried rice.
This time I ordered the Phad Prig Gang which comes with your choice of meat or tofu stir-fried with Thai red curry paste, bell peppers, mushroom, carrot, shelled snow peas, basil and kaffir lime leaves. I got tofu. What sold me on this was the Thai red curry paste. I don't ever eat that so I thought I'd try it. What this dish is basically a vegetable/meat dish with spicy red curry sauce. It has a bit of a kick at the end and it's pretty good.
The drunken noodles are my favorite because of the noodles and the spiciness of the dish. Usually dishes that are really "spicy" usually are 'ok' or a 'dud' in my book. The more spices you lose the flavor (in some cases).
Pad Thai is yummy, but to be honest, Pad Thai is almost the same anywhere you go. It's one of those "you really can't ruin a Pad Thai" because it's "easy" to make.
I love their egg rolls. I love the paper wrapping the use and the veggies inside have a good taste when you eat it without the glass sweet and sour sauce.
They're lunch and dinner specials are a steal also. They give you a lot (15 to be exact) of choices for entrees to choose from (for both lunch and dinner). With that you get soup, egg roll (1), steam/fried rice and a drink for lunch for $7.99. Dinner is the same minus the drink and $8.99.
If you live in Riverside or San Bernardino, check this place out if you're into Thai. It's one of the better one's in the I.E.
They also have coconut ice cream and fried banana for dessert. I really wanted to try one but I was too full. Thank goodness this is 5 minutes from my house, I can pass out after a yummy dinner.
This is one of the best places I've been to in the IE. Go for lunch to get an incredible meal for an incredible price: Egg roll with dipping sauce, soup, and soda with free refills open up the meal, and there are tons of amazing options for entree. they also have Thai milk tea.
The drunk noodle, pad Thai, broccoli beef, and sweet n sour chicken are some of my favorites (no all Thai food, I know, but this place does the Chinese food items really well too!).
Compared to other Thai places in the area, this restaurant seems expensive but it is really good. Lunch specials are a buck or two more than places in Colton but they include drinks and spring rolls, unlike the competition. Their curries are spectacularly loaded with intense flavors that are a good break from your usual hole-in-the-wall Thai restaurant. Plus, they give you enough food to last for two meals.
If you're in the area, check out this restaurant just off Barton in the shopping center with Stater Brothers.
