Elephant Bar Restaurant

Despite the relatively pleasant cooked meat smell as you walk in -- the chicken/ rib combo whatever I had was foul... slathered in slime of liquid smoke and sugar-oil.

This was my first (and last) Elephant Bar experience... I was under the impression they were a little nicer. Happened to be in town for a family event and sadly this was deemed the "nicest place around" for all of us to gather. I think we all wished we saved a bit of cash had a way tastier meal over at Denny's nearby.. alas it was not to be.

This place seems to hire immature employees who have problem taking a simple lunch order, and then to top it  off the bill was wrong.  It took the server 3 times to get it right. On the way out, five of the staff, screamed at us "to have a nice day". It seem the server went in the back and complained about the situation that she caused and got other staff members to harass a special outing  for an 86 year old lady, thinking it would embarrass us.

Been here twice so far and each time is was good! Service is a little slow but the drinks are delicious!!
