I dropped into this place with my family on Sunday afternoon.  Half the tables were empty, so we were seated right away.  It appeared to be a nice, casual place for a beer and burger.  And the waitress was very pleasant.

The tap beer selection is definately lacking.  We ended up just ordering bottles.

I wish I could comment on the food, but 35 minutes after ordering we had still not been served.  We asked the waitress if there was a problem and she said the food would be out in five minutes.  10 minutes later we just paid for the beers and left.

There was no apology, just irritation that we weren't willing to wait even longer for our food.  Nice way to put a downer on what should have been a pleasant Sunday lunch.
Thanks Tidewater, I won't be back.

Two things I have done for the past 4 years every July, come to my timeshare in Solano Beach and head over to Tide Water for the fish tacos (at least 3 visits in a one week period)!  I always bring guests with me and boast that this is THE PLACE for fish tacos.  This year I was surprised about my visit for 2 reasons...

The place has recently, and appears to still be, going through a renovation.  While I agree a face lift was needed, myself and my dinner group didn't particularly feel warm and fuzzy inside like we did in past visits.  The prior "bar like" atmosphere is now more of a high school cafeteria feel and look.  The decor is all over the place, some old some new, folding chairs at some tables and it isn't welcoming at all!

We walked in and past 2 female servers who didn't acknowledge us at all as we wondered if this was still a "seat yourself" place so after standing there blankly staring for a minute, we sauntered over to a table, a dirty one but a table.  I noticed debris on the floor, a lime wedge, napkins and never had seen that in there before and on the new flooring.

There were 2 tables being served with larger than normal parties but considering the size of the place and that it's not that big, there should have been no issue getting those tables and more served timely.

The 2 tables had obviously been in there for a while, they all had drinks and appetizers so well on their way.  We place our order, fish tacos, a burger and a salad with grilled fish.

15 minutes went by, 20 minutes, our waitress could see us looking at her each time she walked past us, not saying a word, no update on our food, nothing... 25 minutes later we all started deliberating leaving and going to Pizza Port for some service and food.  30 minutes later, our food arrived and we were all starving and ready to eat.

Where to start?  Burger and fries.  My guest took a bite of the fries, handed me one and said take a bite and tell me what you taste, so I did.  Obviously they had been sitting for a while as they were hard and grease ridden.  The inside part was, well not there, there was no potato texture inside as they were all dried up.  The burger was okay but over cooked.  Then we realized, the waitress never even asked how my guest wanted the burger cooked!

The salad with fish on top.  This was ordered dry with no dressing.  The vegis all tasted like soap.  The fish on top was dried out and over cooked.    Then the waitress brought over "garlic bread".  It was half cooked, limp and the taste was far away from garlic.

And now for the famous fish tacos... they arrived in what appeared to be a different tortilla than what had been served over the years and with LOTS more cabbage!  I took a bite and boy was I disappointed!  The fish was dry and what used to be the wonderful white sauce dripping out with every bite was non-existent.  Thank goodness I had a lemon wedge to squeeze into this or it would have been bone dry!

I announced to my party my apology for bringing them back here and pledged not to come back at all this trip or ever again.  My favorite place to go on vacation has lost its charm, friendly service and good, quality food.  Need to find another venue to frequent on the rest of this trip and all future for my fish taco fix.  I will also pass this along to my family and friends that I have referred to come here in the past and will let them know, it's time to move on...

Well, makeovers are usually a good thing, but I think they forgot the most important part....the bar! Where is all the taps??

The beer selection is lacking. I mean, So Cal by the beach, place deserves an extensive So Cal beer selection.

However, food is pretty good, especially the burgers. Staff is awesome and speedy. Worth stopping in and having lunch if your in the area. Set right on coast Hwy and plenty of seating.

Grabbed a beer and a burger here tonight.
The place is undergoing a remodel and they opted to stay open.  So it's pretty ugly inside.  The walls are un-done, the floors are torn up, and the place looks pretty bad.
However, our service was fantastic.  Our server was really friendly and on top of everything.  We both ordered different burgers with fries.  They were both very large, but they were way over cooked.  (dry and no flavor)  The fries were good and the beer was cold.  Need I say more?
I'll check this place out again.  Hopefully the remodel will be finished.  I might stay longer.

Didn't know I such a cool dive bar in my hood!
Ok parking is not super but not that bad!
If I was rich enough to gamble on opening my own restaurant...I would want this spot ...***note buy a lotto ticket

    Space was huge
Service was fine (it's a dive bar not an5 star establishment )
Drinks were small but stiff... I opted for  a double tall ... $10 for stoli vanilla & diet coke
Kids had chicken strips and fries ...chicken was crispy and moist.. Buffalo sauce would have been good, but I didn't ask for it!
Hubby had a burger....my bite was fine... I ate his side salad ....good

Overall food...it was perfectly ok...no complaints or exceptional praises...

    It's a dive bar!!!!

Kids had fun shooting pool...wish that was free....I guess that's my only  complaint

    Yup I'll be back

Drinks taste terrible but strong.  Food very bland.  Cooked ok but absolutely no flavor with the fish tacos or the hamburger.  Wish I could get my $35.00 back.  Atmosphere not that great either.  No fireplace or pits.  Dark and dingy interior.  However Probably a good place to go with a large crowd and just to drink beer.

We go here from time to time for lunch. The food is really good. They have some really good pastrami sandwiches. If you're in the mood for salads they pile it on as well, so you get your money's worth.

A majority of the time the service is good, but we have had it be really slow a couple times when there was really no one there, so that was a bit disappointing. Only matters if you need to get back to work though.

Stopped by here for lunch with a client. I ordered the calamari tacos, they were actually pretty good didn't expect a bar to have good tacos. Staff is friendly, the bartender has a great smile and she gave us great service.

Literally a stone's throw away from the boyfriend's house - Tidewater is a nice place to go for a beer and some bar food.   Not really a 'dive' bar, but it's probably the closest you'll get to one in Solana Beach.

Service is quick and friendly most of the time (it can get a little chaotic during the summer festivals).

Burgers are tasty - I prefer the tidal wave burger, mmm! Guacamole is always fresh.  The chicken tenders and grilled cheese are simple and delicious, too.

But - there's always one thing my boyfriend tells me before we go here - "don't order the nachos' - but about 50% of the time I don't listen and end up ordering a plate.  And regretting it.  There's just not a good balance with the nacho ingredients - too much salsa and all my chips are way soggy.

Decent beer selection - Stone, Ballast Point, Coronado, Guinness, Stella, Coors (hehe) and other bottled ones.

They have pool tables, too - usually at least one is open.  Kind of old and not level though.

During the weekdays it is pretty dead.  Weekends and special events fill the place up though!
Go to Tidewater - just don't get the nachos!

Not the business' fault, but there was major construction on the street. Massive boulders boing moved around.

Had a salad that was ok. Nice grilled chicken. Jalapeno poppers (5) were ok. Ranch dressing was not like I have had. It was watery? Place seemed like a good time on a fri or sat night. I will update this review if I get to go back.

Damn, Pizza Port is way too crowded.  Where else to go after the beach?  Strolled a few paces along the same sidewalk and came across this open area.  I like that open dining feeling but still with a roof over your head.  TVs were everywhere playing all sorts of sports.

Not really a place to bring kids but thankfully they had a high chair.  Other than the regular pub food they have a little twist on the standard burger and sandwiches....jerk!  No, not some a-hole, jerk chicken and fish sandwiches.  It was a good change of pace from regular bar food.  The chicken tenders were delicious as well...good enough for the kids.

Decent place to grab food, watch a game, check out any foot traffic walking by.  Service was great, seemed like the manager or owner was making his rounds quite often.  Perfect place to go when Pizza Port has a long waiting list.

YAAAAAY! I feel so fortunate that the Tidewater is on the other side of the block from me. Almost always has a good vibe with lots of people, but never so crowded that you can't get service. I go here a LOT. Service is very friendly, usually fast, and the place is full of cool people willing to chat and get to know you.
The owner, Sam, goes above and beyond to be personable and get to know regulars. I've only eaten here once, and had the fish tacos, which were wonderful and at a good price. Drinks are usually strong, and this is a good place to watch the game (TVs everywhere).
Pool tables make for some extra fun and mingling, and while it is family friendly during the day, it's also a fun place to go drink and mingle at night! Love the Tidewater :)

Cute place to meet up with people and enjoy the outdoor weather from inside --- the place opens out into a patio with their 'garage door style' door.

I tried the fish tacos and even though they look like mostly cabbage, they are actually quiet satisfying and delicious!

If I'm in that part of town, I might go there again but nothing to make the trip out there specifically for.

Came here to meet up with some friends.

I didn't order anything so I cannot comment on the food or beer. However, I did like the spaciousness of the establishment. Very open and airy.

Sit at the tables by the sidewalk since it's great for people watching.

Parking is along PCH but you can park along in the neighborhoods. Watch the signage as some of the spaces indicate 2 hour parking.

Just a nice little Sunday planned, headed to home depot, maybe bed, bath, and beyond...

And then our friends called and that plan went out the window. Down to the Tidewater we went, just a hop, skip, and a jump from our new place!

I love me some divey type bars. The Tidewater is only dive-esque, since it is Solana after all. It's casual and fun with pool tables and TVs, friendly bartenders pouring drinks long and strong! We strolled in planning to only stay an hour but then....the most dreaded thing happened:

    Jaeger bombs.

    Oh god

    Then shots

    Sigh

    Then something else?

    Well....

And there I was, drunk on a Sunday at the Tidewater. Oh heyyy Solana Beach. Ps: all of this took about 20 minutes. It wasn't my fault! I'm just a little lady with eyes too big for her stomach and an Irish look about me. People think I have more tolerance than I actually do. I don't...I really don't.

A locals spot for sure, street parking is a pain, better to walk there anyways if you can, the beach is just a block away. Surprisingly good menu for a bar!

Didn't try the food.  Decent local bar with a mixed crowd.  Got loud for a bit when some good looking girls walked into Tidewater on a Sunday afternoon.  Many flat screens but no sound and I could barely here the background music.  Bartender wasn't very friendly but not mean either, just quiet and to the point.  Was always quick to refill me and that works just fine.  Pool tables but look worn from a distance.  Food smelled good but had already eaten.  Nice selection of top shelf liquors for a local place.  I'd give it a go again if I was in town longer.

I've lived in Solana Beach for about a year and a half now, and in that short amount of time, this place has really hit the wall. It used to be a regular "go to", but my two most recent experiences have me wondering when Tidewater will become the subject of a "Restaurant Nightmares" or "Bar Rescue" episode.

The food here used to be fantastic, and it's still good, but the service and general ambiance of the place (which have always left something to be desired) have recently hit an all time low. Warm beer (both bottle and draft) had us wondering whether they were refrigerating the food properly. When we mentioned the warm beers to our server (who spent most of her time chatting with the other server at the service well), she offered to keep the remainder of my warm bottle on ice (and eventually comped my wife's).

I get that Tidewater is a beach bar and I understand that it's January, but aren't you depending on local business outside of the summer months? Does anyone at Tidewater give a shit? Maybe the reason it's dead during months like this is that locals have realized that you don't.

This place could be a local treasure (not to mention a gold mine), but it's due for a makeover of both staff and decor.

For such a fancy part of town this place is incredibly inexpensive.  The drink are fine and the food is way better than standard pub fare.  I had the calamari Tacos and my wife had the fish tacos.

Both were fresh and delicious and not overcooked.  I hear the happy hour is a great deal there as well.  I wish I lived closer so I can make this my local watering hole/fish taco eatery.

    Two delicious thumbs up

The Tidewater is slightly on the divey side, but any place that serves excellent burgers, calamari tacos and very good beers on tap (Stone, Yellowtail, etc.) simply cannot qualify as a total dive.  The food menu alone is definitely better than it needs to be for this type of joint.

A very special note to all guys to try out the urinal in the men's room.  There is a small sliding glass window directly where your face points as you stand at attention--so to speak--and you can gaze out on the parking lot as you do your whizness.  The breeze is very nice, too, and also serves as excellent ventilation.  The window is a great feature, as long as you don't mind everyone and their freaking mother looking at your face as you whiz away.

I've only been here one time and it wasn't for the food. Some buddies and I spent a tough day on the golf course, decided to eat down the street and figured we weren't quite done for the night so we edged our way in to Tidewater. Have to say it was a good find.

Walking in, we immediately went to the right because that was where the pool tables and dart boards were located. Why any of us thought we could play either is beyond me. Anyway, a pretty cool atmosphere. The night we went, there was no crowd at all on the side we were on.

Good beer selection as well as a full bar and the prices were reasonable. The feeling inside is very relaxed and people just minding their own business and hanging out with their friends.

If I ever find myself completing another difficult day of golf, I will come back here to unwind.

If you're looking for a review on the food, it can be summed up in five words;  better than average bar food.  If however, you seek a comfortable place, to meet up with (or make new) friends, and watch a ball game, Tidewater is the joint.

Let me qualify the "bar food" statement.  Some Friday specials are really good.  I've had a perfect NY strip here, for a very reasonable price.  It is a tavern though so it would be foolhardy to expect an atmosphere that isn't centered around the Laker game, the Charger game, the Padres game, and the conversation and/or cheers those events produce.

It's a locals joint which defines locals as anyone who stops in once a month.  The wait staff goes out of its way to be friendly, prompt, and "on their game".  Pool table are usually open and it's not hard to find a game if you like to play.  When the weather is nice, the floor-to-ceiling "garage-door" windows roll up to enjoy the perfect coastal air.

Not a whole lot of fancy here and we like it like that

Definitely a local's spot, given the crowd of surfers and people who were here to have a good time and were not strutting around like peacocks donning the best threads.  I totally dig places where the main objective is for people to relax, play some pool, enjoy the jukebox and knock some beers back.

There are two pool tables in a separate area, which is where we spent most of the evening.  It is a tight squeeze, but our group of 8 made it work.  I did not have any of the food, but everyone else in the group enjoyed burgers, sandwiches and chicken fingers.

Two pitchers of Bud Light cost $29 (with tip), which is a decent price to me.  If I am back in Solana Beach anytime soon, I will definitely hit up this place!

Really nothing great to report here. It kind of anchors the Solana Beach Boardwalk, which isn't much of a boardwalk.

On Tap, Bud, bud light, Sierra Nevada, Stone and Stella. That's it? For being in America's Beer Capital (San Diego!) this is a really poor selection. :( A very short walk southward you will find Pizza Port with tons of great beers on tap.

I had a Veggie platter and a sandwich that I can't recall the name of. Probably because it was forgetful. The pastrami should be cut nice and thin but instead it was thick and chewy.

I'm not sure if I've been here before, but I know I wont be coming back.

ENTERTAINMENT- many high quality T.Vs, OK pool table.

FOOD - Not a lot of selection but OK. Not Gluten Friendly (including the knowledge of waitresses).

SERVICE - Worst Service I've Ever Experienced In My Entire Life - Waitress messed up on 15 different things (not exaggerating) and bar tenders were not helpful.

COMMENTS - The waitress came by three times to ask us if we were ready to order and each time we asked her if she had checked with the kitchen to see if the Chili had Gluten in it. "Not yet!!". Ohh and dont bother the bar tenders next to the kitchen with nonesense Gluten questions because they don't care either. This place needs a sign behind the bar to remind the workers " Shut up, smile, and do your job because you are being paid to work here".

Pretty good.  I don't have anything negative to say about this place.

Decent beers on tap, good crowd, food looks ok (I didn't eat anything -- just the liquid diet for me).

Server was nice (and cute).  A lot of TVs for football watching.  Chill.  Pizza Port is just down the street too!

A friend brought me here last weekend to watch the USC game and to grab some food.  Totally great spot with a killer indoor/outdoor esque patio and a must be at spot on hot days. This is San Diego, so I guess that's just about everyday.

The food was GREAT!  I had the Chicken Cajun Sandwich and my friend had the BLT....both verrry good.

Not sure what our waitress had going on this day, but she was not attentive and a little rude.  Constantly giving me that pat on the shoulder and the "I'll be right with you hunny" look, but took her time coming around. Points off for that.

The drink orders were brought out multiple times for the same order, which I quickly got over.  It seemed to be the place where the locals go and they don't mind the service because it's there spot and that's the way they like it....ah ha!.

It's hard to categorize this joint.

It could be a sports bar, a pool hall, a burger joint, a beach bar and a dive bar depending on the time of day, your frame of mind and whether you're on your first or fifteenth beer. A lot of people had come from the beach and probably a few from the track plus a bunch of laid back locals from around the hood. Just go in your beach stuff, no need to dress for this place.

Last night they did steady business, but it was hardly packed. We scored a table at the front right near the barrier to keep people from spilling onto the street. It kind of feels like someones giant garage because the front opens up through a garage door! Nice touch.

Ordered a couple beers, and they took a while to come. Got some menus and ordered some sandwiches, which also took a while to come. The staff are stretched thin - two girls for the whole place. They had no chance. This is the kind of food that is awesome after 5 beers when you realize you forgot to eat, but mediocre on your first. My chicken sandwich was better than the burger. Fries were good. Another beer, then time to go and we wait 20 minutes to ask for the bill. Get more servers.

I'll go back here, but I'll drink a few more beers before I order my food and ask for the check when I order my last drink.

Go to happy hour early enough, Tidewater (or any other place for that matter) is your oyster.  Order drinks. Drink. Repeat.  Drink prices were rather standard.  Balancing the need to be healthy, I had a turkey burger - with bacon FTW! - which wasn't bad at all.

Since it was a beautiful Friday afternoon, the front walls/large windows of Tidewater literally open up to the street.

What's nice about opening up to the street is there wouldn't be any confusion of looking for your friends.  That is, don't you hate it when you plan to meet up with friends, but they've nicely irrigated their livers since you last saw them?

    Hey, where are you guys?
    We're inside THE BAR!!!
    Which bar?
    INSIDE! Come inside!
    Which bar!
    INSIDE! FRAK ME.
    WHERE ARE YOU!!!???
    INSIDE!

That said, what's nice about opening up to the street is there wouldn't be any confusion of looking for your friends.

Hit up Tidewater Tavern with Meg R. I always heard good things but tended to always hit up Surf and Saddle, endearingly called "Slurp and Straddle" by locals. The same kind of crowds hang out at both... Tidewater is a bigger bar, with lots of room for games of pool, rocking out to the jukebox, or pretty much whatever else you want to do. It IS more laid back, less crowded/noisy and spacious though. Not that that's bad- just depends on your mood I guess. You can enjoy some wonderful (and CHEAP!) drinks, and enjoy a nice baseball game from screens scattered all over the bar. Go PADRES!

The service was really good, especially for a bar! They take good care of you at the Tidewater. But the main selling point is THE FOOD. The calamari sandwich was HUGE and super yummy! Meg was a fan of their fish tacos....Everyone was happy! Especially when we got the tab, all full and tipsy. Our drinks ranged from like, $3.75 to $5, as far as I remember, all meals were under $9, and they are quite substantial.

Unlike some other local bars, there was some REVERSE cougar action...All in good fun though. The creeper scale was overall quite low, a selling point for girls like us...   ; )

Bottom line is...if you are in this area, this is where you NEED to go if you want to kick it, maybe watch a game or have a good conversation, and get some damn decent drinks and grub for your hard earned buck.

    Damn good.

This is being added to my list of favorite local watering holes. It's cheap, I was paying $3.75 (well whiskey sour), to $4.50 (Malibu bay breeze) a drink and they also had nummy food.

I got the fish tacos and they were delicious, my friend got the calamari sammich, i tried a bite and it was *really* good. I was very jealous of her sammich.

They had plenty of TV's around and we caught the end of the padres/dodgers game. There were some pool tables, I think there was a juke box. The crowd was sparse, but friendly enough.

Was definitely fun and It's a good place to come in for cheap drinks and good (also cheap) food.

I'm giving it 4 stars because they have THE BEST FISH TACOS IN SAN DIEGO! Sorry all you South Beach fans, Tidewater's got you beat!

Otherwise, the bar is just okay, although they have quite a few pool tables. Warning: the place is totally dead by around midnight. Old foggies in North County I guess!

We went here for the simple fact that it was decided (not by me of course) that we needed to go somewhere besides Pizza Port as that is our typical mid point meeting spot when people from the north and the south want to hang out.

The drink prices were OK.  The Stone IPA's that I ordered were $4 per pint and tasted a bit off.  I did expect a better beer selection given that a mere three hundred feet away resides one of the best breweries in Southern California.

Service was slow which was not really a problem as our main objective was to kick back and enjoy each other's company.

Once my burger arrived it showed up with a group of cold fries.  The food had been sitting for awhile.  Bleh.

To echo another critical review, when I ordered my burger and they did not ask how I would like it prepared.  I verified that it would be cooked medium.  It was way well done.  One of my friends ordered medium rare and it was cooked the same as my own.

Our server was nice and I didn't really feel the need to complain per se.

    So "Meh I've experienced better."

For some reason I can't bring myself to hang out here.  I really only come when there are sceduled events such as Icebreakers for other people's reuinions, a wedding reception...yes a wedding reception.  I always seem to run into someone I know but yet I seem to mostly ignore this place.

Not sure why because the food is pretty decent, alcohol is not too pricey  and service is pretty good.  So I'm gonna have to start dragging my hermit self out more and start coming here more often.  If only they sold Widmer, I'd go right now.

Flat Beer, seriously subpar food even for a bar.
Our group had awful chili cheese fries, spicy wings, and potato skins.
Their calamari and fish tacos are great though. The calamari tacos are probably the best in north county.

    Today's lunch was so easy.

I'll have beer and Ice tea.
    Another beer? Sure!
    Are you ready to order?
I'll have a Bacon Cheeseburger with everything on it.
*Mustard is not part of everything thank you very much*.

TVs all over the place, pool tables, large bar, big roll up door open because the weather was great. The service was great, food good and the price was good.
My buddy picked up the tab. Thanks Duane.

I've been here many times before and never had any problems. They show surfing on their TVs among other things and that's fine by me.
    4 stars seems fair.

I've been here twice. Once when I was jet-lagged in June, for a late evening meal and beer. Kinda doesn't count cause I was dead to the world. I think the food was fine, but nothing spectacular.

The second time was this weekend, and it was our third stop on the morning after a crazy night. The birthday girl had her third round of drinks for the morning here.

We actually were just going in to play with the B.A.C. Breathalyzer machine, but of course we ended up running into people and one thing led to another.....

I know this place is a local favorite, so I have to give it some credit for that. The atmosphere is pretty cool, and the bartender was nice and super cute. He also had really pretty blue eyes. Can you judge a place for the cuteness of the boys there? Sure, why not.

He did give my girl a birthday shot, so that was nice.

However, the B.A.C. machine was a rip-off. The birthday girl was 5 drinks to the wind, and blew a 'no detectable amount of alcohol'. That's kinda scary when you think about it.

Overall the experience of this place is nice, but its about the quality you would expect from a local dive bar. Definitely worth checking out if you're in the area to visit friends or whatever. I probably wouldn't make it a priority if I was visiting San Diego for vacation from a distant location. Unless you really want to get a taste of the local Solona Beach scene.

I love you, dear Tidewater. You are so comfy and familiar. Sort of like I remember my grandparents' house always being, you smell a little bit weird but you always know exactly what I need when I'm tired and cranky.

At the Tidewater, I can always find a table. The bartenders are always awesome. I can play a little bit of pool if I want. I can order some drinks and eat the very best bar food I have ever had in my entire life. Jalapeno poppers are AMAZING, as are the chicken fingers, cheese fries and believe it or not, the salads... the salads are VERY fresh and VERY good.

The minus one star is only for the somewhat average mixed drinks (you're always safe with beer) and the fact that re-painting and re-flooring probably should have taken place 20 years ago. I recommend not going here in the daylight. I also recommend working out for three hours the day after. You'll need it.

To describe Tidewater in one word, "thisplacemuthafuckinsucksASS!"

The service was weak, not inept, just so so. From the time we sat down to the time we got our food was nearly 40 minutes. I ordered a burger and garlic fries but each was so bad unto themselves that I need to break them down separately.

First, I was never asked how I like my burger prepared, which I immediately took as a bad sign, and I was right. When I finally got it, the outer shell was a crispy critter. I cut it in half and it was totally cooked through, extra well-done. The tomato was light pink and mealy and instead of a lettuce leaf, they just through on some of the chopped salad lettuce, which fell out of the bun at every bite.

The garlic fries were a straight up abomination. I love garlic and I love fries, so this should have been heaven, but not so much. My guess is that they were sitting around while my burger was burning to a crisp because the first bite was luke warm and each one colder as I went. They must have been topped with some sort of oil or butter after they were cooked because the fries had a sheen to them, which also made them hard; not crispy, just HARD. Finally, the garlic was loaded on top. I like a lot of garlic, but this looked like they shredded an entire clove of the plate. I'm surprised I could taste anything besides garlic after eating just one fry.

The only reason I'm giving this more than 1 star is my friend seemed to enjoy his chicken breast sandwich, but when asked if he would come back, he couldn't say NO fast enough.

This is a cool bar, laid back with BELVEDERE!   There are 4 pool tables, full bar, lunch menu, bar food and dollar bills stapled on the ceiling that have been collecting for years.

A big plus it is right by the Coaster Station so you can make this a pit stop to and from the game!

    Holla Sam!

    Bar food.

The actual bar itself is what is really getting the 3 stars here.  On PCH, big open windows in a cool environment.  Laid back, large bar, the drink potential is.....what makes me happy - and beware, because drinking when the sun is up can only lead to no good.

The menu has a wide selection...fries, nachos, calamari, burgers, salads.

You don't really come here to eat though.

Come here to drink with your friends and go eat at Pizza Port after since it's only a few doors down.
