Tiger Room

The Tiger Room, attached to The Station and Southern Rail, is the newest hip place to get caffeine and sit down to do a little work.    It's small, but the room is used well, with one big table, a bar area, and some nice area at the windows to set up.  They also have a big TV in there in case you want to work and watch the game (whatever game that may be, on this day it was a Penguins game).  

I ended up getting a caramel latte.  It was a very good caramel latte.  You can also buy beer and other drinks as well, along with the normal bar foods from The Station (including Tots!)

Overall, The Tiger Room is a nice addition to the Carrboro coffee scene.

Awesome place I just discovered! The atmosphere is relaxed, coffee is good stuff  and I recommend the tomato bisque and grilled cheese if your looking for lunch. Nice alternative if Open Eye is too busy or crowded for you. Emily was working the bar when I was there and she def makes me come back with her warm personality.
