Great place. Me and my buddy go every weekend. Get there early and there is no cover, which is normally $5.00. Parking is horrible, I have never been in a bar that has the ratio of 6 girls to 1 guy. 95% of all the women are beautiful. Just so many amazing looking girls go to this place. Extremely clean place, Great staff and even when the place is crowded you can still get a drink pretty quick. Never seen a fight because they have more than enough security.
Review Source:This is not your neighborhood bar...this is your neighborhood bar taken over by the Freshman class of USC. While I wasn't the oldest person in the bar (I'm in my mid-20's), I felt WAY too old to be at this establishment.
My list of grievances
1) $5 cover - I am over 21 and I will be spending money at your establishment. The saving grace (and reason for +1 star) was that they allowed us to enter without paying cover since we explained we were out of towners equipped only with a credit card but willing to buy drinks.
2) Drinks- I get it many people like a stiff drink and perhaps they wish to spend their evenings/mornings in a miserable drunken  stupor  but I asked for a vodka and SODA...I personally do not enjoy drinking cheap vodka on the rocks ...it was all too much for me.
3) Restrooms/general state of cleanliness of the entire place- The ladies rooms were horrendous.... as well as the venue itself which would be somewhat forgivable if there wasn't approximately 10+ broken glass bottles on the dance floor at all times. Luckily I wore boots...
4) The crowd- We were groped at and grabbed on more than once...they paid their $5 but that didn't entitle them to a free-for-all grab fest, perhaps Tin Roof should be more careful about who they let in.
5) Music - If you love Living on a prayer sung in its entirety by screaming drunk girls and drunken frat bros' Â this is the place for you. I will admit though they played Friends in Low Places...and who doesn't like that one!
I guess it's safe to say I won't be back...
I went to the best concert of my life at Tin Roof--Luke Bryan came during the fall and it was a blast! TR is a great place to bring friends and supports a great group atmosphere! Drinks are a little expensive, but the food is good. Our service has been slow, but I'm a return customer despite the negatives and still LOVE Tin Roof. It has other locations in other cities and I've heard good things about the other establishments as well. I highly recommend Tin Roof whether you're going for the live music, drinks or to grab a bite to eat!
Review Source:Went here for the first time on a Saturday evening (7ish) and sat at the bar. Â We had ZERO service for 20 minutes- not even a "hello" or "ill be right with you". Â The atmopshere looked fun, but I have no patience for terrible service. Needless to say, we left and went somewhere that wanted our service
Review Source:"Just a laid-back atmosphere"
Saturday afternoon, second half of the Bama N Bacon game, and the new Tin Roof restaurant- Life is good! Â If only the Razorbacks could of pulled it off- Oh well~
The Tin Roof is a very nice addition to Cola- The converted fire house building is perfect! It's big and spacious, light and airy, yet gives you a comfortable feeling the moment you walk in the door. They have a nice big bar in the middle, plenty of room to belly up and look at the many big screens...They have plenty -o- many big booths to sit in, and there's a fairly good size stage for your musical pleasures :) I like the layout, many different spots you can migrate to, looks like a good place for a party.
The menu is maybe a little limited in choices? The two biggies are Quesadillas and Sandwiches- However, these are pretty big biggies- they offer 15-16 (or more?) different kinds of each! No burgers??
This is what we ordered-
Sunny Quesadilla
Grilled chicken, sun-dried tomatoes, avocado and Jack & feta cheeses. 7.95
Beanie Quesadilla
Grilled Chicken and black beans with Jack cheese. 7.95
Steak & Cheese Sandwich
Marinated grilled steak, sauteed mushrooms & onions, topped with provolone cheese. 8.95
Everything was el-goodo! Â The Sandwich, in IMO, was the best. It was a panini style with fresh mushrooms, nice and cheesy! The quesadillas are pretty good stuff too, maybe could of use a little more cheese, but I'm a cheesy kinda guy~ These are served with sour cream and a chipotle style of salsa. The nice server girl said they roast there own peppers and tomato's to make this. It's not your typical chunky, tomato style salsa I guess that's why they call it chipotle HA! :)
They have Fat Tire beer on tap for two buckaroos and Sweetwater Blue for four bucks a bottle. Don't know how big of a selection they have but, don't think it's huge? Â My wife said the her Mai Tai was just perfect!
The billing for this place is "Tin Roof - A Live Music Joint" Â Think they're right .The music crawl is coming up... Â have to give it another try. They have on the menu a sandwich I want to try- Peanut butter and bananas on Texas toast!! Life is good!
