Not really bad but not good. Â I prefer going out downtown. I think the concept of the place is a good idea but I think the cover charge and the expensive drinks just don't suit the location and the execution of the place. Â I mean to have to buy a cup of water is ridiculous and then to get it snatched out of my hand and thrown at the trash can when leaving without the option to place it in the trash can myself was done a little prematurely and aggressively on the bouncers part. Â The bathrooms were gnarly and the stall doors were rigged so they would shut - not something I would expect from a club with a cover. Â The outside was underwhelming and the owners didn't go to the full design potential with the decor -keeping in mind the concept of an upscale club. Â
It seems like there are a tremendous amount of sloppy drunks and not even loving ones. Plenty of douche bags trying to start fights and harassingly grabby. Â
I had some guy knock a table over where i was sitting and spill all my full expensive drinks over me.
Unfortunately this place wasn't worth the expense. Â Too much drama I want to have a good time and i don't want to watch out for a congregation of dumbass' that are flocking to the same place.
I've only gone here twice but both experiences were almost identical.
The security was rude & short tempered. My girl wanted to put her purse in the car and come back in and they gave her attitude that was more based on them being annoyed rather than them being busy (it was early). Also 6 bouncers? What is this the white house?
The place was packed with creepy gangster guys staring at girls while they nervously sipped their drink. I was with a really cute girlfriend of mine and watching the hopeless guys stare at her as she walked to the bathroom was like watching inmates gawk at female security guard as she walked past their cells.
The wave of fat Bakersfield girls flooding the place didn't help my already bad vibe of the place. When probably the hottest club in Bakersfield is packed with creeper guys being frozen by approach anxiety and drunk fat baby Mommas  on a Friday night you know it's time to move out of here.
Where do I begin with this "ultra" lounge. First of all, the security in entrance is completely rude and try too hard to intimidate you. I am going to your club to spend MY MONEY, the least you can do is greet me and make me feel comfortable, buy no, before I even step foot inside I already felt hesitant and uneasy. Second, the worst quality of mixed drinks I have ever had in a bar/club. The drinks are priced adequately for this type of establishment but they are poorly made and of cheap quality. I ordered a series of drinks and they were all mediocre. At one point I saw one of the bartenders "pouring" from an already empty bottle and continued to go on as if no one had noticed, lucky for her the person who had ordered the drink was too inebriated to notice the lack of alcohol in her drink. Also, I was constantly ignored when trying to order a drink and took about 5-10 minutes to get the bartenders attention. Third, I am not sure if they have a dress code and if they do, they're not enforcing it. They seem to care more about filling the place up than maintaining a sophisticated image. If they expect to be one of Bakersfield's elite clubs they must learn to weed out those that wont even dress adequately for such a place. I saw people dressed in sneakers and t-shirts. I went here expecting to have a good time, I dressed for the occasion and was ready to spend money. This place has good potential and and the design is appealing but unfortunately I will not be going back again unless I hear of some changes.
Review Source:I actually liked this night club. Very elegant, and the bar tenders are pretty cool. The cover charge was a little pricey for "Ladies night," but whatever. I still had a great night. The thing I loved the most is that this club has 2 dance floors. One in the patio, and one inside. As soon as my friend and I started to get sweaty, we moved to the patio where it was nice and cool to dance.
Review Source:Located in a strip mall next to a beauty school. Odd location, but it seems to work. It's in the middle of bro country yet somehow manages to attract a variety of people most nights. Most nights there's some kind of event or theme which is fun, but that also usually means a cover charge (ugh).
The last time I went was the LMFAO concert, which was great concert, but too small of a venue to really enjoy it. There had to have been a fire hazard. And by the end of the evening the floor was an inch deep with spilled drinks. Needless to say, my shoes were ruined.
VIP tables are always available and usually reasonable. If you have a large group this is definitely the way to go.
Patio is nearly the same size as indoors, but the bar is poorly managed and sometimes impossible to get a drink from.
If you're looking for a decent place to get together and dance and not have to worry about bums pissing on your car, then Toniq is the place for you.
I have been to this club four times and last night was the first time I have been turned off from this club and will never enter this place again.  My boyfriend and I paid fifteen to get in, which is not an expensive price. This place has an outside patio for people to dance, lounge, and lastly to SMOKE. I guess you can't expect to go to a club/bar and not get some smoke BUT I really needed fresh air so my boyfriend and I walked out of the building. We were not intoxicated or been refused alcohol since we only had a shot  and a glass of mixed drink. When we turned around to enter the club the two bouncers told us that we COULD NOT return the club unless we PAID the FULL PRICE again! If this was the case they should have had a SIGN at the window that there is no re-entrance to the club once we leave the club. Who in their right mind would pay full price to get back into a club when there is less than an hour before it closes!  NOT only that this place was only sixty percent full. THIS IS BAD BUSINESS. They could have made more with us buying alcohol! Were they expecting to make more money by "kicking" people out so that they can get more people in? I will NEVER go back here again. If you want to dance and have fun I would go to Azules or Randolphs!
