Tool Shed Cocktail Lounge

This is a place to hang out when you are tired of the chain bars. Great place to stop and have a few with locals that appreciate the effort and will reward you with friendliness and one of their own.  

Great low key atmosphere and service is excellent.

This is another one of those places that I was scared to go to for years and finally worked up the nerve to visit.   While I don't completely feel comfortable there as I don't really fit in, I quickly learned (as I usually do) that it's really not that bad there and overall the people are friendly.

This is a bar where you are either shooting pool or drinking heavily.  Or both.

I walked up to the bar and ordered drinks for my group.   The bartender turned around to pout the beer, then returned to where I was standing (with my hands outstretched to take the drinks) and started looking all around.

"Now where on Earth did he go??" she exclaimed, completely oblivious to me.  "Did he really just order three beers and walk out?"

The customer seated next to where I was standing started laughing.  "He's right here, right in front of your face!" he said.

"Good thing she's cute or she'd be useless, eh?" he leaned in and whispered to me.

The walls of the men's room were white, but a regular told that they used to be covered with centerfolds that someone had meticulously cut out and glued to the walls.  He didn't know why they were taken down, he said they're very much missed.
