The Firehouse Bar

Ok, I was given a great welcome to Blue Springs, MO, just outside of Kansas City, MO. After the eight hour drive I left the motel to hit the night life in MO. I was told to try out the Firehouse. I arrived in the bar around 9pm. The bar was very big and many locals were drinking there. The bar was clean, it had several pool tables, two dart machines, one digital Touchtune juke box and a vending machine. The bartender " Lisa" A/K/A " " Red " was very friendly and very nice. Just dam good MO. customer service, not like Chi-Town. The locals were very nice, I shared two $6.00 domestics pitchers of beer with two MO. gals. Just love the way they talk......!!!! We played some Pink Floyd, Led Zep, and Rolling Stones. The bar is friendly to trades people and Labor Union friendly. Just a fun place. I would recommend it to any fellow travelers who want to have a beer or cocktail. But of course don't drink drunk, MO State Police don't play. I will be in the Kansas City area for a day or two, stay tuned for other reviews. I must say the people knew I was for Chi-Town and they treated me outstanding. They go above and beyond, with a nice smile to boot.... (: (: (: .
