The Trouser Mouse Bar & Grill

Smoking (UGH!), very average bar food, plus a long hair in my chicken wings (BARF!) made it not so great.

It's one redeeming factor was the giant basket of onion rings we ordered. Holy crap, they were awesome!

Great blues bar. love this place. they moved locations, its just a mile south on 7 hwy. still a great place

Indoor smoking paradise! I've lived in smoke ban cities for so long that I forgot there are places that still allow smoking inside. Weeeeeiiird. I personally hate cigarettes but I think the ventilation system at the Mouse was ok enough that I didn't immediately break out into allergy panic. My clothes smelled like ashtray funk the next morning but I didn't really care because I had such a fun time. They have a full bar and lots o beers, average bar food (probably made by the fine folks at Sysco and deep-fried by a local burnout), and GREAT music. They are super nice to their bands and treat them well. The seating is spaced out around the bar, in tables, and booths, and it's not hard to find a spot if you want to be tucked away from everyone or if you want to be in the middle of the action. The place is pretty big and the restrooms are very clean. I don't often party in Blue Springs, but if there's a good band at the Mouse I'll definitely be back.
