TopWok Chinese Cusine

Walking in later on a Tuesday night, I wasn't sure what to expect, but I do love when you walk into an Asian restaurant and all the patrons and servers are 100% Asian!  

As per my typical MO, I ordered quite a plethora of offerings.  All in all, I was very happy with the selection.

I had lunch there about a week ago. I came in about 2-3 pm. The decoration looks good menu and drinks looks fine but I think their sushi wasn't that good. it tasted weird as if I ate sushi that i got it from supermarket.

I got the impression that this place is trying to be all things to all people.  The menu options include Chinese, Sushi, Thai. I tend to prefer a more focused menu, but decided to try it anyway.

The plus side to having so many options is ordering a little bit of everything for dinner. Unfortunately, not everything was as tasty as I'd hoped.

The edamame is good - just the right hint of salt and served hot.

Spicy Tuna roll and California roll were not much better than what you'd find in a supermarket.  

The Shrimp Summer Roll was very good and the peanut sauce was out of this world.

The Shrimp Pad Thai was a bit disappointing.  Way too much lime juice that drowned out the awesome flavor of the noodles and shrimp.

Service was good but not exceptional.  

Not sure if I'll go back to this place or not.
