This is based solely on the service (or lack thereof) and weak drinks.
Even sitting at a table we were ignored for an entire night. Â We had to keep going to the bar to get our drinks. Â And the drinks were so weak it was ridiculous. Â After several attempts and our group trying various libations I gave up and switched to soda. Â No use paying for non-existent alcohol content..
We might have actually tried the food if a server would have come by...but based on other reviews that wouldn't have been good either.
If it weren't for the awesome blues band playing we would have left but stayed to listen to them. Â The band and no cover charge were the only high points.
I will start with the pros, even though they are limited.
The place was pretty clean for a bar. Â Our server was also pretty attentive. Â
Unfortunately, we won't be able to stomach coming back here again. Â The food was pretty bad. Â Crispy chicken was soggy, fries were cold and the fried pickles has an extremely disappointing flavor. Â They were all batter and literally no pickle.
Wife ordered the baked French onion soup and it was among the bottom tier compared to many other places that serve it. Â
In fact, it comes with a piece of sliced bread on top, which is a little bit 'sports bar' to be generous. Â I could have been a little more accepting if it wasn't $6. Â
I would normally evaluate this type of experience as 1 star, but our server was very pleasant and she made a good effort.
First & last time coming here. My husband ordered buffalo wings, they were the size of popcorn chicken. My chicken sandwich was dry & flavorless just as another reviewer described. Service was even worse; almost just a joke to be honest. We are not hard to please by any means, but this place was a huge disappointment. Plan in hitting up the Mickey d's on your way home.
