My recent trip to the Florida Keys has turned me into a little bit of a food snob when it comes to eating out now :) My husband and I were looking for a non-chain restaurant to take our 2 year old to for dinner tonight and I have to say our expectations were EXCEEDED!!

I chose this restaurant tonight because their motto is Commit to the Mitt...as much of their ingredients as possible from Michigan. I love supporting local businesses who support local farmers and such.

The service here is SPECTACULAR! The waitstaff was fast and attentive, and the best part was they gave my daughter attention and made her feel important too!

You want to know about the food though!! I had the Soda Pop Pork Pops (per another Yelpers reccomendation). I'm not a huge pork fan...and I NEVER eat anything that comes on a bone...but I just couldn't help myself! I was not disappointed!!! They were INCREDIBLE! And the mashed potatoes they came with were soooo garlicky...just STELLAR! My husband had a Kobe Steak and got a side of their Mac & Cheese... let me tell you... this Mac & Cheese is nothing to sneeze at!!! They use my favorite noodle for Mac & Cheee (Cavatappi) and the 5 white cheeses...mmmmm My daughter ordered from the kids menu, which was wonderful! Only $4 for a kids meal and there are a lot of choices for a kids menu. You get the entree, side (which they offer fruit and veggies for those of us parents trying to keep our kids away from french fries), and the drink! For fresh ingredients I was happy with the price of meals. With tip for the 3 of us we spent just under $50.

I would be happy to never eat anywhere else again :)

The food here is good, but the service and way the restaurant is run is awful. They don't have an effective system when they're on a wait. In addition our server was horrendous. She forgot our appetizer and our main meals took 40 minutes to be delivered.

A very cool menu indeed.  Service was slightly lacking, but nothing to eagerly get upset about...  I wish I had tried something better than the salad I decided on, because there were some really cool items on the menu.  I say, definitely check them out.  There will be something to tickle everyone's fancy for sure!
