I LOVE CJ Barrymore's!
I've been here three times, always with the day camp that I work at. Â The amount of activities at this place is absolutely amazing- tons of different go-kart tracks, bungee jumping, rock climbing, bumper boats, bumper cars, mini golf, batting cages, water wars, laser tag, arcade... it's unbelievable.
After looking at the website, it's pretty pricey to go on your own, but our kids pay $20 for an all-inclusive wristband and lunch, which is a ridiculously good deal. Â Definitely a great place for a group to go, or a couple of people with a decent amount of money. Â Regardless, I think this is a place everyone should go to at least once. Â Fork over the cash- you'll be glad you did afterwards.
Side note: I will be spending the money to go here with my boyfriend, because they also have a full bar, which I obviously have not been able to take advantage of yet. Â Can't wait!
I love it here. It was cold so we stayed inside. Laser tag for the win! There are tons of games to play, all kinds of games, newer and older, and the prizes were awesome. I love that the prices are very reasonable, you can get a TON of tokens for $20. The staff was super friendly and made us feel right at home. I could come here every day.
Review Source:I was pleasantly surprised by this place. Â My friend hosted her 4-year-old's birthday party here and I was a little skeptical when I got out of my car and there was music BLASTING in the parking lot at noon on a Sunday.
At this point, I didn't know what to expect once we walked inside. Â But, it was actually pretty fun. Â I would describe it as a cleaner and larger Chuck E. Cheese with outdoor activities. Â There was clear signage directing us to the birthday party (there were at least 3-4 going on while we were there). Â I would imagine it's much busier at other times during the week, but the gaming area was almost empty, which allowed us to act like a kid and win tons of tickets. Â It was cold so most of the outdoor activities were closed but 2 of my friends did ride the go-karts and they seemed to have a blast.
The staff was generally friendly and the pizza was quite good. Â They also have plenty of large screen TVs so we could watch the Tigers game while eating. Â While I wouldn't go out of my way to come here, it was definitely more fun than I expected, Â If you have kids, have their birthday party here instead of Chuck E Cheese--more fun for the kids *and* the adults.
