Two J's Smokehouse

They have been closed for remodeling and recently reopened. The food is consistently good and service friendly. An upscale dinner-only section will open soon. I will check back in with a report.

When thinking of using this business for catering, THINK AGAIN! They do not understand how to run this aspect of their business professionally. Very unkind and highlyyyyyyyyy unprofessional.

Two J's is decent BBQ, but it's pricey for what you get.  We ordered take out because the restaurant has a very awkward order/pickup flow through and it's noisy.  I had the ribs, nice St. Louis cut so very meaty, but I like my ribs falling off the bone...and these weren't.  On the other hand, my husband and son loved their burgers, and my daughter claimed her pulled chicken sandwich was "delish".  The sides are OK, but the takeout containers are miniscule.  Unlike other BBQ joints in the area, Two J's will charge you if you actually order sauce to go with your meat- which I thought was weird.  That may only be because we ordered takeout, but really, don't most people like at least a little sauce on their ribs?

I think this restaurant could be better if they put a bit more thought into what their customers actually want.
