I have been here several times. The first couple of times were absolutely great. I ordered one of their shredded beef sandwiches both times and it was amazing. Since then I started trying other things on the menu and haven't really been impressed with any of the other entrees . As far as a bar goes it is pretty nice with reasonable prices (especially during sporting events). All of the appetizers I have tried are pretty good too, which speaks volumes for the bar thing.
Maybe not the best place to eat out (unless you are looking for a delicious beef sandwich), but if you are looking for a smaller place with good unique appetizers to watch a game, this is a great choice.
My husband and I went on Friday night, and we were very impressed with the food and the service. Â I had a pulled beef sandwich, and the meat was very tender. Â It came with sweet potato fries-yum! The husband had a rueben with homemade chups, and it was equally good. Â They did not have a few of the Irish offerings one might expect from an Irish bar (Shepherd's pie, colcannon...), but what we tried, we liked (and will go back to try other menu items). Â Also, our server was great-very attentive and friendly.
Review Source:This used to a great pub and grill... now it's just run of the mill. If you're looking for unique, don't go here. There are a hundred places just like it. They've added some woodwork and an Irish sign on the wall but that does not a pub make. The prices for both drink and food have gone up quite a bit and the happy hour specials are much less attractive. The food... well... not terrible. Certainly nothing you couldn't find at any Applebee's. The old pub was significantly better on many levels. Sigh.
